정종원은 가톨릭대 행정학과 교수로 재직 중이다. 통일문제에 관심을 두고 국제 정치를 공부하려 했지만, 국내 문제로 관심을 돌려 행정학도가 됐다.  조직 내 정치와 갈등, 직장 내 괴롭힘, 병원 조직 내 태움 현상 등 조직행태에 관련된 연구와 저출산, 기본소득, 지속가능한 도시인의 삶과 웰빙 관련된 정책 문제에 대해서도 관심을 갖고 연구를 진행하고 있다. 모교인 가톨릭대학교가 공부하기 좋은 학교가 되기를 바라면서 열심히 살고 있다. University of Malta 정책학과 초빙교수와 University of Hawaii 행정학과 방문학자로 공부하였다. 부천YMCA 부이사장직을 맡아 사회참여 활동도 하고 있다. 우리나라가 잘되면 좋겠고, 세계 평화도 추구한다. 알찬 강의를 하는 재미있는 선생, 선한 이웃, 자상한 아빠가 목표다. 

Jong One Cheong is a professor in the Department of Public Administration at The Catholic University of Korea.  His research specializes in organizational behavior including organizational politics and conflicts, workplace bullying, and Taeoom in hospital organizations. He is also broadly interested in public policy issues in low-birthrate problem in South Korea, universal basic income (UBI), and sustainable well-being of urban life. He earned his PhD from the SPAA, Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey. He was a visiting scholar in the PUBA program at the University of Hawaii and a visiting professor in the Department of Public Policy at the University of Malta. 

서울대 사회학과에서 학사, 석사를 받았으며, 서울대 행정대학원에서 대통령과 의회 관계 연구로 박사학위를 받았다. 경향신문 기자, 국정홍보처와 문화체육관광부에서 사무관으로 근무했다. 2017년 9월부터 가톨릭대 행정학과 교수로 재직 중이다. 민주화 이후 한국 대통령의 국정운영을 제도적 관점에서 연구하고 있다. 대통령이 의회, 관료제, 언론/대중과 어떻게 상호작용하는지에 대한 연구논문을 다수 발표했다. 이밖에 근대국가 성립 이후 관료제 형성과 관료제의 국가간 비교연구에 관심을 갖고 있다. 이를 바탕으로 ‘좋은 정부’에 대한 근대적 사유로서 행정학의 정체성에 대해 고민하고 있다. 

He received his B.A. and M.A. in Sociology from Seoul National University (SNU) and earned his Ph.D. from the Graduate School of Public Administration at the same institution. His dissertation analyzed the relationship between the president and the National Assembly following democratization. He has worked as a reporter for Kyunghyang Shinmun and served as a civil servant at the Government Information Agency and the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism. Since September 2017, he has been a professor of public administration at the Catholic University of Korea. His research focuses on the management of the state by presidents after democratization, viewed from the perspective of institutional actors. He has published several research papers on how presidents interact with parliament, the bureaucracy, and the media/public. He is also interested in the development of bureaucracy since the establishment of the modern state and in cross-national comparative studies of bureaucracy. Based on this, he is exploring the identity of public administration as a modern idea of “good government”. 

임현선 교수는 고려대학교 대학원에서 인적자원개발 전공으로 박사학위를 취득하였다. 주요 연구 분야는 청년 및 여성 경력개발로 청년 및 경력단절여성의 노동시장 진출과 경력 전환 지원 방안에 대해 관심을 갖고 있다. 주로 지도하는 교과목으로는 캡스톤디자인과 행정학과 현장실습이 있다. 또한, 사회혁신융복합전공 겸무교수로서 공공정책과 서비스디자인, ESG컨설팅 캡스톤디자인, 도시재생 캡스톤디자인, 취업준비와 사회진출 교과목을 강의하고 있다.
학생들이 자신의 역량을 최대한 발휘하고 원하는 분야에서 성공적으로 진출할 수 있도록 돕기 위해 공공기관 및 사회혁신 분야(사회적 기업 및 소셜벤처)나 민간기업에 진출하고자 하는 학생들의 진로 취업 상담을 하고 있다. 

Dr. Hyun Sun Lim is an assistant professor in the Department of Public Administration at the Catholic University of Korea. She earned a doctoral degree in Human Resource Development from the Graduate School of Korea University. 
Her primary research focuses on youth and women's career development, with a particular interest in strategies to facilitate the labor market entry and career transition of young individuals and women who have experienced career interruptions. She provides career counseling for students aspiring to enter public institutions, social innovation sectors (social enterprises and social ventures), and private companies, aiming to assist students in maximizing their potentials and successfully pursuing their desired careers in various fields.
