The Center for Lifelong Education of Catholic University participated in the "14th Saraeul Hanmaeum Festival" held in Yeokgok 2-dong on Saturday the 12th, running a program promotion and upcycling experience booth.

The interactive booth was organized as part of the "Waste Upcycling Project," an initiative under the Gyeonggi Province Resource Circulation Village Creation Project.
Targeting local residents, the center hosted a "Sock Loop Tumbler Bag Making" workshop using upcycled sock loops (waste material from sock production). Around 200 residents joined the hands-on activity, crafting their own bags while experiencing the value of resource circulation.

Through this festival, the Center for Lifelong Education promoted the university's diverse lifelong learning opportunities to the local community and shared the meaningful practice of eco-friendly resource recycling together with local residents.
