The Catholic University of Korea ranked 31st in Asia and 11th in Korea among private universities in the ‘UniRank Asia 2026’ rankings released by Singapore-based higher education evaluation agency AppliedHE on December 4.

This evaluation, conducted for the first time across 493 universities in 41 Asian countries, expanded its scope beyond the traditional focus on Southeast Asia to encompass all of Asia. The assessment indicators encompassed six areas: △Employability △Teaching △Research △Community Engagement △Internationalization △Institutional Reputation.

The Catholic University has consistently pursued educational innovation, strengthened research capabilities, and expanded community partnerships to enhance student competencies. This ranking is seen as a result of these efforts.

The university plans to further strengthen its educational and research competitiveness and continue various innovations to leap forward as a global university beyond Asia.
