[Student Affair Team] Notice on Selection of New Scholarship Recipients for the 2027 Future Talent Development Foundation (Application & Submission Deadline: Sept 18)

As the Future Talent Development Foundation is selecting new scholarship recipients for the 2027 academic year, our university plans to select 2 recommended candidates through an internal screening process.
Interested students are requested to review the details below and apply.
1. Scholarship Benefits
a. Grant Amount: 3,500,000 KRW per semester
b. Support Period: Up to 6 semesters starting from the selection point
c. Scholarship Type: Living expense-based academic subsidy (Duplicate receipt with other scholarships is allowed)
※ Scholarship recipients will be finally selected by the Foundation after internal university recommendation.
2. Eligibility Requirements
a. Academic Standing: Students entering or returning to the 1st semester of their 2nd year as of the 1st semester of the 2027 academic year.
b. Academic Performance: GPA of 3.7/4.5 or higher and completed 15 or more credits in the immediately preceding regular semester.
c. Income Bracket: No restrictions on income brackets or student loan support tiers.
d. Attendance: Must be able to attend the Foundation’s scholar camp and meetings.
3. Preferred Qualifications
a. Individuals with official test scores or major awards in specific fields such as language, arts/physical education, science, or technology.
b. Individuals who have contributed to community development through volunteering, donations, or external activities based on sound character and a spirit of volunteerism.
c. Individuals with a clear sense of purpose, concrete academic plans, and expected contributions to national and social development.
※ Internal recommendation candidates will be selected by comprehensively reviewing relevant supporting documents and personal statements.
4. Required Documents
a. Scholarship Application Form (Foundation format) - 1 copy
b. Personal Statement (Foundation format) - 1 copy
c. Consent to Collection and Use of Personal Information (University format & Foundation format) - 1 copy each
d. Supporting Documents (as applicable):
Official test scores or certificates
Major award certificates
External activity confirmation certificates
Volunteer activity confirmation certificates (indicating total hours)
Donation receipts or talent donation confirmation certificates, etc.
e. Trinity Scholarship Application Printout - 1 copy (Must include applicant's signature)
f. Academic Transcript - 1 copy (Must display percentile scores)
Transcripts are to be submitted separately only for final recommendation candidates.
5. How to Apply
a. Trinity Online Application: Trinity Portal → Academic Info → Registration/Scholarship → Scholarship → Scholarship Application
b. Document Submission: Submit the required documents to the Student Support Team after applying via Trinity.
Final registration is complete only when both the Trinity application and document submission are completed within the application period.
6. Application Period & Original Document Submission (Applications outside the period are not accepted)
a. Trinity Application Period: September 11 (Fri) ~ September 18 (Fri), 2026, until 17:00
b. Document Submission Method: Visit the Student Support Team in person or via registered mail (Excluding lunch time: 12:00 ~ 13:00)
c. Submission Address: (14662) Student Support Team (Nichols Hall, Rm 109), The Catholic University of Korea, 43 Jibong-ro, Bucheon-si, Gyeonggi-do, Attn: External Scholarship Coordinator
Registered mail will only be accepted if it arrives by 17:00 on Friday, September 18, 2026.
