The University conducted the ‘2026 Fall Semester New Faculty Training’ on campus for two days, from Tuesday, August 25 to Wednesday, August 26.

During this training, the University introduced its educational philosophy and key systems to the new faculty members and conducted various programs necessary for adapting to the new environment.
On the first day of training, orientation sessions on academic affairs and industry-academia collaboration were held, starting with an introduction to the university and a presentation on CUK 2040. This was followed by a welcome Mass for new faculty, a special lecture on the ‘Identity and Mission of the Catholic University,’ and a program for reflecting on Catholic spirituality, providing an opportunity to share the University’s identity and values.

On the second day, following President Choi Jun-kyu’s welcoming remarks and introductions of the Academic Affairs Committee, key matters essential to faculty life, such as faculty support, student counseling, and faculty welfare and personnel matters, were provided.

The University plans to continue creating a stable educational environment and offering various forms of support so that faculty members can fully demonstrate their capabilities.
