CUK has achieved the highest S grade in the 2026 University Innovation Support Project Performance Evaluation, conducted by the Ministry of Education and the National Research Foundation of Korea. This marks the sixth consecutive highest grade, following achievements in 2020, 2021, 2023, 2024, and 2025.

The University Innovation Support Project is a major financial support program led by the Ministry of Education to help universities autonomously improve their educational environments and systems and nurture future talent. This year, 141 universities receiving general financial support nationwide were evaluated in two areas: △Educational Innovation Performance △Internal Performance Management.

CUK received the highest S grade in Educational Innovation Performance and the highest A grade in Internal Performance Management. In particular, CUK achieved an S grade in Educational Innovation Performance for the second consecutive year, securing an additional 30% in project funding as an incentive.

In Educational Innovation Performance, CUK received high marks for improving its academic systems to allow students to select and design majors according to their career paths and interests. CUK has operated various programs to expand students’ freedom of major selection, including △promoting multiple majors and diversifying graduation requirements △operating the “Trinity Open Badge” digital certification system and modular micro-degree programs △establishing advanced departments based on student demand.

CUK also received positive evaluations for strengthening its student-centered support system. Through “CUK 5 Advisor,” CUK provides integrated support for academics, career development, counseling, practical skills, and employment, while the “CUK Innovation Mentoring Platform” helps students with university life and career exploration. CUK has also enhanced the “AI CUK e-Portfolio” and online platform “CUK ON,” creating an educational environment where students can independently design their academic and career paths.

In Internal Performance Management, CUK received high marks for systematically managing performance indicators aligned with the university’s innovation goals and for its performance management system, which identifies issues during project implementation, makes improvements, and reflects them in subsequent plans.
