The Department of Business Administration of The Catholic University of Korea successfully concluded the Impact Career Field Visit program, conducted in collaboration with Hisway Co., Ltd.
The program was organized as part of the Department of Business Administration's ANCHOR (Gyeonggi Regional Talent Development System) project. It was designed to provide students with opportunities to visit companies and organizations in the impact sector, gain firsthand insight into real-world job roles, and explore how their academic majors and personal interests align with potential career paths.
Students visited six impact organizations: Korea Social Value and Evaluation, World Vision, MYSC (MY Social Company), Lovely Paper, The Asan Nanum Foundation, and The Korea Social Economy Bank (Together Foundation), where they gained firsthand experience in the field.
The program included organizational introductions, office tours, special lectures by industry professionals, Q&A sessions, and coffee chats. Through these activities, students gained a deeper understanding of the diverse career opportunities and organizational cultures within the impact sector. They also connected their academic studies with their career aspirations through pre-visit research and post-visit reflection activities.

In particular, alumni of The Catholic University of Korea working at Korea Social Value and Evaluation, MYSC (MY Social Company), and Lovely Paper participated as mentors, sharing their career journeys and professional experiences to support students in exploring career opportunities.
Students who participated in the program commented, “The program helped us better understand the practical work involved in the impact sector, which had previously seemed abstract, and gave us the opportunity to seriously consider a wider range of career possibilities.”
Professor Kim Seung-gyun of the Department of Business Administration stated, “This field visit provided students with an excellent opportunity to experience real working environments in various impact-related fields, including social innovation, ESG, and social welfare, while enhancing their career decision-making self-efficacy.” He added, “We will continue to expand our partnerships with organizations in the impact sector and develop follow-up programs, including internships and collaborative projects.”
