The university held a performance sharing session for the "Startup Capstone Design" course for the 1st semester of the 2026 academic year on June 4 (Thu). This course was jointly operated with ThanksWorks, a tenant company in the Startup Innovation Space of the Gyeonggi Business & Science Accelerator.
This project was conducted as field-oriented education where students directly analyzed problems faced by local startups in the field and proposed solutions.
Students built practical capabilities by participating in the entire process from △market research △content planning △service development to △marketing strategy establishment through various tasks such as △developing a knitting visualization application △producing viral short-form content △developing a B2B HR solution, and △planning and developing gift package products.

In particular, the COCO team received high evaluations for their data-based market demand verification and won the Grand Prize.
Team leader Kim Dong-min said, "Through an Instagram pretotype experiment, we were able to confirm the potential of our idea by securing more than 40,000 views and over 800 potential customers," adding, "It was a meaningful experience to learn the importance of data-driven decision-making."
Shin Mi-ha, CEO of ThanksWorks, said, "The various ideas and contents proposed by the students were a great help in contemplating the company's business direction," adding, "We were able to confirm the potential of industry-university cooperation where universities and startups can grow together."
Professor Sung Jae-yeol of the Department of Business Administration stated, "This project was a meaningful experience where students could analyze real industry field problems and seek solutions," adding, "We will continue to expand cooperation with local startups and strengthen field-oriented educational programs."
