The Department of Space Design and Consumer Affairs and the Department of Space Design at the General Graduate School invited Professor Kim Yong-se of Tongji University College of Design & Innovation in China to hold a special lecture on overseas experts in the conference room of the Central Library.

The special lecture was held under the theme of "Smart Experience Design & Integrated Activity & Space Design," and had time to discuss the direction of future convergence design and space design with undergraduate and graduate students and professors in attendance.

Professor Kim Yong-se, who was invited as a speaker, is an expert in the field of Product-Service System Design, obtained a doctorate in mechanical engineering from Stanford University, and has conducted education and research activities in the United States, Korea, and Finland. In this lecture, Professor Kim introduced a smart experience design framework based on customer experience data and a methodology for designing product-service system experiences by integrating user experience and physical environment data.

This special lecture showed that space design is expanding beyond physical space design to experience-oriented convergence studies, and it was a meaningful time for students to understand global design research trends.
