On Thursday, June 4, our university’s Korean Language Education Center held an orientation for international students enrolled in the foreign language training program for the 2026 academic year summer semester.

The orientation was organized to support international students so they can quickly adapt to Korean life and their language training program.

During the event, academic information was provided, including academic schedules, grading evaluation criteria, semester completion requirements, and promotion criteria. In addition, explanations were given regarding stay-related matters such as visa (D-4-1) extension procedures, alien registration methods, and mandatory health insurance enrollment. Furthermore, through sexual violence prevention education and Korean law understanding sessions, the center supported a safe and stable Korean life for the international students.

President Jun-gyu Choi, who attended the event, checked whether the international students faced any difficulties in learning Korean or living in Korea, and encouraged them by saying, "Our university will firmly support your study abroad life."
Sung-wook Song, Director of the Korean Language Education Center, stated, "We will continue to strengthen various international student support programs in the future, including career and academic advancement counseling."

The Korean Language Education Center plans to continue operating various educational and support programs going forward so that foreign international students can successfully pursue their studies and smoothly adapt to Korean society.
