2026 Grand National Night opens a venue for alumni harmony to mark the 171st anniversary of the scho

On May 15 (Friday), the Catholic University of Korea held the "2026 Grand People's Night," an alumni event to commemorate the 171st anniversary of the school.

About 120 alumni attended the event to celebrate the long history and traditions of their alma mater together and exchange alumni across generations.

Alumni in attendance shared their current status and interests with each other starting with pre-networking, adding vitality to the site in a warm atmosphere even before the main event.


The event was held in the order of △Hwarang opening performance △Explanation of the purpose of the event △Introduction of the guest △Welcome speech to the 34th President of the Association △President's congratulatory speech △Group photo shoot.

The society was led by announcer Chung Yoo-hyun (13), an alumnus of Catholic University, and led the event to a stable progress.

During the dinner, the main program, "Eastern Bingo Networking," was held. Alumni in attendance found the alumni corresponding to the question on the bingo paper, wrote down their names, completed bingo, and had time to get to know each other with their alumni.

After the alumni bingo networking, alumni in attendance expressed their feelings about participating in the event. Young alumni in their 20s and 30s said they received a lot of help from senior alumni in their career and social life through the alumni meeting, and expressed their desire to share their experiences and expertise with juniors and alumni members in the future.

The alumni association said it will introduce a talent donation linkage program involving professional alumni such as accountants, lawyers, appraisers, and patent attorneys, and alumni in the start-up and start-up sectors, and expand exchanges between alumni to share experience and expertise.
