On the 8th (Wednesday), the inauguration ceremony of the Graduate Research Ecosystem Innovation Project Group was held in the conference room on the 2nd floor of the Central Library of the school. The event began with the hosting of the general graduate school team leader and proceeded in the order of △ the beginning prayer △ the progress report of the president of the Sacred Heart Graduate School △ the words of the president △ the sharing of the experience of the BK21 project in the 4th stage △ the presentation of the business plan for each innovation project group.

At the launch ceremony, President Choi Jun-kyu encouraged the official launch of the innovation project group to enhance the competitiveness of graduate research. Subsequently, the head of the project, Na Gun, shared his experience in the operation of the four-stage BK21 project and delivered practical advice for the successful settlement of the project group.

The five innovation project groups selected for this project will conduct professional research according to the characteristics of each division. In the humanities and social sciences, the "Addiction Super-Fusion Solving Innovative Talent Development Project Group (CARE-X)" in the Department of Addiction and the "Innovation Project Group for Training Professional Personnel to Solve Youth Crisis and Mental Health Problems" in the Department of Psychology will be selected to lead research to solve social problems.

The science and engineering departments are led by the "CUK Sustainable Advanced Chemical Materials Innovation Project Group" in the chemistry department, the "AID-Pharma Future Talent Innovation Project Group" in the pharmaceutical department, and the "Life System Convergence Innovation Project Group" in the biotechnology department. Each project leader presented a roadmap for fostering future talent and research innovation through the announcement of specific business plans.

The Graduate Research Ecosystem Innovation Project Group, which began its full-scale operation, plans to activate ultra-convergence research that crosses the boundaries between disciplines in the future. Through this, it is expected that the graduate school of this school will leap to a world-class research base and become a key base for producing innovative research talents.
