Orientation Program for New Administrative Staff (March 2026)

The Catholic University of Korea (CUK) held an orientation program for newly appointed administrative staff on campus on March 23. This program was designed to help new employees understand the university's vision and organizational culture, fostering their growth as administrative professionals equipped with practical field expertise.

President Luke Jun-kyu Choi delivered a warm welcome, congratulating the new staff on becoming vital members of the university community.
During the orientation, participants engaged in communication sessions, including a greeting and an interview with the Vice President for Administration. They also visited key departments across the campus to facilitate a smooth transition into the organization.
The curriculum included a variety of programs to enhance practical understanding, such as:
Guidance on Personnel Regulations for Faculty and Staff
Hands-on training for Records Management and Official Document Drafting
Introduction to Employee Welfare and Benefit Systems
Training and practice for the University's Administrative Information System
Educational sessions on the operations of the Student Affairs Team

Yun-jeong Park, one of the new staff members who completed the training, shared her aspirations: "Through this program, I was able to gain a deep understanding of the university's administrative systems and its vision. I will strive to build a healthy and safe campus environment where everyone feels comfortable by combining professional knowledge with warm communication."
