The Catholic University of Korea Holds "Staff Town Hall Meeting" for Communication and Innovation

On Tuesday, January 13, at 2:00 PM, The Catholic University of Korea held a "Staff Town Hall Meeting" in the Conference Room of Stephen Cardinal Kim Sou-hwan Hall to share the university's future development direction. Approximately 150 staff members attended the event to express diverse opinions on university innovation.


Key university officials, including President Jun-kyu Choi, the Vice President for Academic Affairs, the Dean of General Affairs, and the Dean of Planning, attended the meeting to listen directly to the staff's voices. In his opening remarks, President Choi emphasized the importance of open and reciprocal communication, stating, "The voices from the field provided by our staff are the core of the university's competitiveness."


During the subsequent Q&A session, key agendas for administrative innovation were discussed in depth, including:

  • The introduction of a specialized career track system 

  • The reallocation of campus space

  • The implementation of a concentrated leave system 

The university administration announced its plan to actively reflect field opinions in policy-making and to realize a university management model that grows together through regular communication.
