The Catholic University of Korea's presidential delegation visited Manila, Philippines, from Monday, November 24 to Thursday, November 27. This trip was arranged to attend the AVEPRO (Agency for the Evaluation and Promotion of Quality in Ecclesiastical Universities and Faculties) seminar, discuss the operational direction of the School of Canon Law with the Pontifical University of Santo Tomas, and expand exchange and cooperation.

The delegation attended the AVEPRO seminar, meeting with the AVEPRO Director, the Director General, and officials from the Ministry of Education and Culture responsible for Asia. They exchanged views on the development direction of higher education institutions within the Church and strategies to enhance international competitiveness.

Subsequently, they visited the University of Santo Tomas, meeting with the President and international cooperation officials to discuss expanding academic exchanges between the two universities and international educational cooperation plans.

Additionally, they held a meeting with officials from the Pontifical University of Saint Thomas Aquinas' School of Canon Law, established and operated by the Holy See, to discuss future operational directions. They also met successively with officials from the Research Center and the Office of International Relations to concretize cooperation plans in various fields, including joint research and student exchanges.
