The leadership of The Catholic University of Korea visited Rome, Italy from Thursday, November 20 to Sunday, November 23. This trip was conducted at the invitation of the Vatican's Dicastery for Laity, Family and Life and the John Paul II Youth Foundation to discuss co-hosting an international academic conference and long-term cooperation plans. The conference is scheduled to take place during the 2027 Seoul World Youth Day (WYD). Discussions regarding the official approval of WYD events were also held during this visit.

The Council President held official meetings with Gleison De Paula Souza, Secretary General of the Vatican's Dicastery for Laity, Family and Life; Fr. Franco Galdino, Director of the Dicastery; Daniele Bruno, President of the John Paul II Youth Foundation; Paul Metzlaff, Vice President; and Marco Russo, Secretary General.

They subsequently visited the Embassy of the Republic of Korea to the Holy See, meeting with Ambassador Shin Hyung-sik and secretaries to discuss the hosting of WYD in Seoul and expanding international cooperation.

During their visit, the delegation also attended a fundraising concert for an international conference organized by the John Paul II Youth Foundation. They delivered remarks and interacted with participants at the event.
