A special lecture titled <DESIGNer System by Academic Year and 2nd Semester Career-DESIGN> by Dean Seo Han-suk of the College Management Team was held in the University's Concert Hall (Grand Auditorium)(CH) on the 10th. Approximately 1,400 freshmen taking the Career-DESIGN course attended the lecture.
The Career-DESIGN course is part of the DESIGNer System by Academic Year curriculum, designed to allow students to explore and analyze occupations or learning directions related to their major, thereby solidifying their personal career roadmap.
To help freshmen select their career paths, The Catholic University of Korea introduced the 'DESIGNer System by Academic Year' starting in the 2024 academic year, centered on customized integrated education according to students' aptitude and characteristics, consisting of 'I-DESIGN' in the first semester and 'Career-DESIGN' in the second semester.
Im Su-ji (College of Liberal Studies, '25) student, who participated in today's lecture, shared her impression, saying, "Through this special lecture, I learned ways to explore various majors and career paths," and "I will create my own career map through the DESIGNer System by Academic Year."
