The end-of-semester faculty meeting for the Spring 2025 semester was held on Friday, June 20, at 4:00 PM in the Conference Room, Kim Sou-hwan Hall (K) at The Catholic University of Korea.

During the meeting, a retirement ceremony was held to honor faculty members retiring at the end of August 2025. The retiring professors are:

A commemorative video featuring interviews with the retiring professors was presented, highlighting their dedication and contributions to the university. President Joon-kyu Choi expressed his gratitude by presenting each professor with a certificate of appreciation and a bouquet of flowers.

Following the retirement ceremony, President Choi shared the university’s vision and discussed plans for campus space development and the recruitment of new faculty members, providing direction for the institution’s future growth.

The meeting concluded with updates from each department, followed by a Q&A session that enabled in-depth discussion on key issues related to university operations.

This semester’s faculty meeting served as a meaningful occasion to reflect on the present and future of the university, while also reinforcing communication and shared purpose among the faculty.
