On Monday, the 2nd, a snack event for 1,000 enrolled students was held in front of Mikael Hall to celebrate the university’s 170th anniversary.

This event was organized by President Choi Joon-kyu, the Office of External Relations, and the CUK Development Fund Supporters “GaDaeLove” to encourage students who are working hard ahead of the final exams.

The popular snack "Bomunsan Echo" from Seongsimdang Bakery was offered, gaining high interest among students even before the event began.

The event kicked off with a surprise quiz show related to the university’s history, setting a lively atmosphere. Three students who answered the quiz questions correctly first via the open chat received additional commemorative gifts.

President Choi Joon-kyu and faculty members handed out snacks in person and delivered warm words of encouragement to the students facing final exams.

President Choi stated, “To mark the 170th anniversary of our founding, we’ve prepared this snack event to support students who are exhausted from assignments and exam prep. I hope today’s treats offer you a moment of refreshment and help you wrap up your finals wonderfully.”

Jiin Son (3rd-year, School of International Studies) said, “I was feeling nervous with all the assignments and studying for finals, but receiving this sweet snack gift gave me a lot of strength. Thanks to the President’s warm encouragement, I feel confident about doing well on my exams.”
