[Finance Team] Guide to Tuition Payment Methods for Enrolled International Students for the 2nd Semester of the 2026 Academic Year

To enhance the convenience of tuition payment for international students, PayPal and WeChat Pay have been newly added as payment methods starting from the second semester of the 2026 academic year, in addition to the existing Alipay and BIDV.

International students may pay their tuition via the Hana Bank virtual account simple payment QR code.

Please review the details below and the attached guide to ensure payment is made within the specified period. 


Eligibility for Payment

  • Current Students and Returning Students: Regular Registration & Additional Registration Period
  • Students in Extra Semesters: Additional Registration Period

Tuition Payment Schedule

  • Regular Registration: Aug. 24 (Mon) – Aug. 28 (Fri), 2026, Weekdays 09:00–16:00
  • Additional Registration: Sep. 7 (Mon) – Sep. 11 (Fri), 2026, Weekdays 09:00–16:00


Printing Tuition Invoices

  • Regular Registration Invoices: From Aug. 18 (Tue), 2026, 09:00
  • Additional Registration Invoices: From Sep. 7 (Mon), 2026, 09:00

Available Payment Methods

  • Alipay
  • BIDV

Preparations Before Payment

  • Student information such as student ID number
  • Hana Bank virtual account number
  • Payment items (tuition and optional expenses)
  • Partial supporting documents such as invoices and passports

How to View Tuition Invoices and Payment Certificates

Log in → Academic Information → Registration/Scholarship → Registration → Select Tuition Invoice or Payment Certificate

Important Notes

  • Currency exchange or remittance through illegal currency exchange operators or third parties (such as study abroad agencies) that are not registered financial institutions is illegal.
  • If an illegal currency exchange account becomes involved in a crime, your account, your friends' accounts, and even the university's account may be suspended. Additionally, you may face restrictions on electronic financial transactions and civil and criminal penalties. - If your university account is suspended due to illegal transactions, your registration may be denied and you may be notified of the tuition fee. You must pay the amount that was suspended from withdrawal, and failure to do so may result in expulsion.
  • International students are not permitted to pay tuition fees in installments.
  • You cannot apply for a tuition refund due to reasons such as a change in payment method, so please select your payment method carefully.
  • Please be careful to prevent the exposure of personal information, such as virtual account numbers, and ensure that you make the payment in person.
  • Separate fees may apply for transfers to banks other than Woori Bank or Kookmin Bank, or for using simplified payment methods.
