Gyeongwon Scholarship Foundation is selecting the 7th cohort of scholarship recipients for 2026. Students wishing to apply are advised to review the information below and submit their applications.

1. Selection Overview

· Scholarship Amount: KRW 4,000,000 per person

· Nature of Scholarship: Living Expenses

· Number of Recipients: 250 university students

· Eligibility: Currently enrolled university students in their 1st to 3rd year as of the 2nd semester of the 2026 academic year (Graduating students, students expected to exceed the standard number of semesters, and students on leave of absence are not eligible to apply)

· Eligible Majors: Related engineering majors, including Polymer Engineering, Metallurgy, Mechanical Engineering, Nano Engineering, Network Engineering, Drone Engineering, Mechatronics, Mobility, Semiconductor Engineering, Battery Engineering, Data Science, Industrial Engineering, Software Engineering, Smart Factory Engineering, Energy Engineering, AI, Automation, Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Information & Communications Engineering, Computer Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, etc.

· Basic/common divisions in which the major has not yet been determined are not eligible to apply

· Eligibility will be determined based on the name of the major/department listed on the Certificate of Enrollment and Academic Transcript

2. Eligibility

· Completed at least 12 credits in the 1st semester of the 2026 academic year

· Average GPA of B (3.0/4.5) or higher

· Students from low-income families experiencing financial difficulties (No income bracket restrictions)

· Students receiving scholarships from other institutions may also apply (Students must check in advance whether the existing scholarship institution restricts duplicate scholarship benefits)

3. Application Period and Method

· Application Period: Aug. 19, 2026 (Wed) ~ Sep. 30, 2026 (Wed)

· Application Method: Registered mail only (Email, in-person, and fax applications are not accepted)

· Only applications mailed through a post office by Sep. 30, 2026 (Wed) will be considered valid

4. Required Documents

· Gyeongwon Scholarship Foundation Scholarship Application Form

· Consent Form for the Collection, Use, and Provision of Personal Information (1 copy for the student, 1 copy for the guardian)

· Certificate of Enrollment

· Academic Transcript for the 1st semester of the 2026 academic year

· Family Relations Certificate

· Certificate of National Basic Living Security Recipient Status or Certificate of Health Insurance Premium Payment for 2026

· (Optional) Certificate of Disability or Supporting Documents for Awards/Qualifications Related to the Major

5. Notes on Submission

· Only documents issued on or after June 1, 2026 will be accepted (Documents supporting major-related qualifications are exempt from this requirement)

· Delete the last seven digits of the resident registration number before submission

· Only official certificates bearing the university seal will be accepted

· Arrange the documents in the designated order before submission

· Applications with missing required documents will be excluded from the screening process

· Submitted documents will not be returned

6. Selection Schedule

· Document Screening: Oct. 1 ~ Nov. 11, 2026

· Board of Directors Review: Nov. 12 ~ Nov. 18, 2026

· Announcement of Selection Results: Nov. 20, 2026

· Scholarship Payment: Paid to the university account by Nov. 30, 2026, and then distributed to students according to the university's internal procedures

※ Selection results will be posted on the Gyeongwon Scholarship Foundation website, and only selected recipients will be notified individually by text message

※ Appeals against the screening results and requests for disclosure of screening scores are not permitted
