2026-2 Semester 2nd Round National Work-Study Scholarship Student Application Guide
(Korea Student Aid Foundation) The application period for the 2nd round of the 2026-2 Semester National Work-Study Scholarship is as follows. Students who wish to participate in the Winter Vacation Intensive Work Program are requested to apply within the designated period.

- 3) Eligibility:
Students who wish to participate in the Winter Vacation Intensive Work Program during the 2026-2 Semester
and who did not apply for the National Work-Study Scholarship during the 1st integrated application period
※ Students who already applied during the 1st application period do not need to submit an additional application during the 2nd application period.
※ Students who are selected for the National Work-Study Scholarship during the semester may apply for and participate in the Winter Vacation Intensive Work Program.
※ Students must apply during the 2nd application period to participate in the Winter Vacation Intensive Work Program. (Preferred work institution application period will be announced separately.)
- 4) Eligibility Requirements:
1. Currently enrolled students within their 8th semester- 2. Students who earned at least 1.88 (70 points) / 12 credits in the previous semester
- 3. Students within income bracket 9 or below
<Ineligible Applicants>
- - Students taking a leave of absence, graduates, students completing coursework, graduate students, students who have entered the university while enrolled (early admission/※ applicants with prior enrollment and those who can verify participation in the 4 major insurance programs), international students, industrially commissioned students, students in the evening program, registered students at the Center for Lifelong Education, etc., during the 2026-2 Semester
- - Students participating in other university work programs (National Work-Study Scholarship, University Student Youth Education Support Scholarship, Multicultural and North Korean Defector Student Mentoring Scholarship)
- - Students expected to graduate in February 2027 may work until February 5, 2027.
- - Students receiving the Tuition Scholarship/Internship/National Work-Study Scholarship may receive the scholarship even if the amount exceeds the tuition amount.

- 1) Work Guide
(1) Work type: Off-campus work (Winter Vacation) / Hourly wage: KRW 12,790 (based on the announced standard)
(2) Work period: During the 2026-2 Semester Winter Vacation (January–February 2027)
(3) Selection Criteria:
1. Students who meet the basic selection criteria for the semester (academic performance, etc.)- 2. Students who applied for the Korea Student Aid Foundation Winter Vacation Intensive Work Program and the Trineti at the same time (including those who applied for the preferred work institution)
- 3. Excluding students already working during the 2nd semester (National Work-Study/On-campus Work/Internship, all types; duplicate participation not allowed)
- 4. Selection criteria (additional selection criteria applied)
① Students with disabilities / students from single-parent or multi-child households, etc. are given priority
② Lower income brackets are prioritized
- * Students who did not work during the previous semester are expected to be selected at a rate of 60% of the total number of selected students for the semester. (Foundation recommendation)
- * If a first-priority student declines selection or there are no students who qualify as first-priority candidates, the next-priority students will be selected.
(If the number of applicants eligible for priority selection is insufficient, applicants with lower priority may also be selected.)
- * Students participating in the 2026 Korea Student Aid Foundation University Student Youth Education Support Scholarship or Multicultural and North Korean Defector Student Mentoring Scholarship are excluded from selection. (Duplicate participation is not allowed.)
- * Final selection numbers will be determined according to the remaining budget for the National Work-Study Scholarship.
- * The above annual selection criteria are based on the "University Self-Selection Criteria" specified in the annual program guidelines, and the details may be subject to change depending on the actual circumstances of each selection process.
- * For the Intensive Work Program, the number of students to be selected and working hours are determined based on the annual budget, so detailed information can be confirmed when the final selection is announced.
(4) Other Notes
- - Work institution: Off-campus work institution (Winter Vacation) / Hourly wage: KRW 12,790 (based on the announced standard)
- - Students must apply for the preferred work institution in advance to participate in the selection process. (Details will be announced separately.)
- - Scholarship payments are made monthly based on actual working hours. (Payment: around the third week of the following month based on working hours)
- - Work-study scholarship payments are made to an account under the name of the student registered with the Korea Student Aid Foundation/Trinity.
- - Students receiving the National Work-Study Scholarship cannot participate in other work programs simultaneously.
(University Student Youth Education Support Scholarship/University Student Mentoring/University Student Off-campus Internship, etc.; only one scholarship type may be participated in) - - Students receiving an on-campus work/internship/National Work-Study Scholarship may receive the scholarship even if the amount exceeds the tuition amount.
