2026-2 Semester 2nd Round National Scholarship Application Guide


The 2nd round of applications for the 2026-2 semester National Scholarship will be conducted as follows. Students who are eligible are advised to carefully review the notice and complete their application within the designated period.


  1. 1. Application Period: August 12, 2026 (Wed) 09:00 ~ September 9, 2026 (Wed) 18:00

※ Applications can be submitted 24 hours a day on Sundays and public holidays (Applications close at 18:00 on the application deadline.)

※ Applicants must obtain a digital certificate under their own name in advance to apply.

※ Document Submission & Household Member Consent: August 12, 2026 (Wed) 09:00 ~ September 9, 2026 (Wed) 18:00

  • - Students required to submit documents may do so through the Korea Student Aid Foundation website or mobile app.
  • - If household member consent was completed in the previous semester or there have been no changes in household members, no additional consent procedure is required.

  4. 3. Eligible Applicants: New students (high school seniors, repeat applicants, and other prospective students), transfer students, readmitted students, returning students, and currently enrolled students who missed the 1st-round application

※ For currently enrolled students, the 1st-round application is the general rule. The relief application system is automatically applied up to two times during enrollment.


  1. 4. Eligibility Requirements: Students who have received the National Scholarship fewer than 8 times and meet the following academic requirements: at least 12 credits and a grade of 80 points (2.75) or higher in the previous semester (grades before grade cancellation). However, there are no academic performance requirements for new and transfer students.

  2. 5. Important Notes (*Required Reading)

※ For currently enrolled students, the 1st-round application is the general rule, and the relief application may be used up to two times during enrollment.

※ Students who do not apply for the National Scholarship will not be eligible for the Disaster Scholarship in the 2026-2 semester. Students from households affected by a disaster must therefore apply for the National Scholarship.

※ Since the 2024 academic year, the annual amount and eligibility for National Scholarship support have been expanded. Eligible students are strongly encouraged to apply and check their opportunities for financial aid.

※ Due to heavy traffic on the website on the application deadline, applicants are advised to submit their applications well in advance to avoid difficulties.
