(Military e-Learning) Course Registration Notice
The Catholic University of Korea has introduced a military service credit recognition system since the 2022 academic year.
Students currently serving in the military or scheduled to enlist should check the details below.
1. Target Audience: Those currently serving in the military as a student on leave of absence from The Catholic University of Korea
A. Active-duty soldiers, full-time reservists, short-term non-commissioned officers, conscripted police/coast guard, social service personnel, medical firefighting personnel, alternative service personnel
B. Excluded: Students currently (or scheduled to be) taking regular classes for the 2026 1st semester after applying for reinstatement, those discharged/released prior to September 25, 2026, and those enlisting in the 2nd semester of 2026 (Sep–Dec)

- Military service credit (Military e-Learning) courses require completion by the end of the class period regardless of course registration and change periods.
- No separate "Course Withdrawal" period exists (Withdrawal is not possible after the course registration and change periods specified above).
4. Course Registration Instructions
A. Up to 3 credits per semester, maximum of 6 credits during military service.
B. Registration is available ONLY via Nara Sarang Portal (https://www.mosp.mnd.go.kr) Military e-Learning → Degree Courses (NOT available on The Catholic University of Korea course registration site).
C. Nara Sarang Portal Sign-up (Sign-up → Education - Military e-Learning - Remote Courses for Academic Credit) → Enter Academic Info for Military e-Learning (School, Student ID, Service No., Branch, Contact Info) → Enter Subsidy Refund Account (Own actual account number, Bank) → Course Registration for Degree Courses (Select own university's course) → Course Registration Approval (Approval by admin of belonging university).
D. Registration is complete once the university administrator checks eligibility (enrolled status, military leave status, eligibility to take courses, etc.) and approves it. In case of cancellation or delay in processing, check the application history remarks and notices.
5. Class and Exam Method
A. Cyber Campus 100% Online Lecture - Online attendance and exams in principle

C. Refer to Trinity syllabus for each course's syllabus
6. Grade Instructions
A. Grades assigned based on the same standard as general enrolled students
B. Automatic F grade if absence exceeds 1/4 of total class hours (Disqualified from exam)
C. Grade Entry: Military service credit (Military e-Learning) course grades are entered as summer/winter session grades immediately following the completed semester (1st semester courses entered as summer session grades).
D. Winter session grade entry is mainly conducted around mid-January, and exact dates may vary by semester.
E. Since the maximum allowed credits for summer/winter sessions are within 6 credits, during the session where military service credit (Military e-Learning) grades are entered, course registration is limited to a total of 6 credits including the military e-learning courses.
F. Grade Inquiry
- Available on 'Nara Sarang Portal' and 'Main Trinity' after grade transfer for the corresponding session is complete.
- Displayed with [Military] in front of the course name when checking grades on Trinity (Excluded from transcripts issued for external submission).
7. Re-registration Instructions
A. Courses taken before enlistment CANNOT be re-taken during military service (Based on course code).
B. Courses taken during military service CAN be re-taken during military service or after discharge (Based on course code).
8. Tuition and Fee Support Notice
A. 80,000 KRW per credit (Same as summer/winter session tuition) + Fee of 11,000 KRW
B. Payment Method: Account transfer via PG Payment

- Non-commissioned officers, medical firefighting personnel, and industrial technical personnel are not eligible for support.

C. Registration is not possible if University Name or Student ID is inaccurate
D. Course registration and cancellation are ONLY possible on the Military e-Learning website; requests on the school website will be rendered invalid
E. Regularly check Military e-Learning notices and email during the course period
