Eligibility | 1) Undergraduate students currently enrolled at this university who have completed 4 or more semesters (However, those expected to graduate or those currently in their 8th semester or higher are not eligible to apply). 2) For transfer students of this university, applications are only open to those who have completed at least one semester at this university. 3) Those with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher up to the semester immediately preceding the application. |
Application Process | Fill out the application details on Trinity → Academic Information → Class/Grades → Class → Domestic Credit Exchange Application (Select among Korea Univ. / Sookmyung Women's Univ. / Yeungnam Univ. / Sungkonghoe Univ.).Click 'Apply', print out the application form, obtain the signature/seal of the major advisor and the dean of the department/faculty, and submit it to the Academic Support Team (Credit Exchange Credit Recognition Application Form + Personal Information Consent Form). |

Course Enrollment & Scope | 1) Students can select and complete courses from all open subjects at both universities; however, courses related to teacher training curricula or certifications must be taken only at this university. 2) Previously taken courses cannot be repeated with identical courses at the host university (Please inquire with the corresponding major department regarding whether a course is considered identical). 3) Retaking a course previously completed at this university is only allowed at this university (Retaking it at the host university is not permitted). |
Scope of Credits to Earn | 1) Regular Semesters: Up to 6 credits can be taken at Sookmyung Women's University (A combined maximum of 19 credits can be taken across both universities / Please make sure to check the course cancellation period). 2) If the GPA of the previous semester is 4.0 or higher, or if the student is subject to the overload credit system, additional credits can be taken at this university. |
Grade Evaluation & Credit Recognition | 1) Courses completed at the host university will be replaced with equivalent courses at this university through credit recognition and will be recorded on the academic transcript. The grades for the corresponding courses will be converted and entered based on the actual score (points) earned at the host university, adapted to this university's grading scale. 2) Credit recognition is approved at this university for the exact number of credits earned at the host university. 3) Among external credits earned through domestic credit exchange, international exchange student programs, or overseas field training, etc., credits can only be recognized within the limit of 1/2 of the total credits required for graduation. |

Important Notes | 1) Please be careful not to create any discrepancies between the actual course registration details at Sookmyung Women's University and the credit recognition application details. 2) Cancellation of Credit Exchange: Cancellation is mandatory on the Trinity Credit Exchange application screen. If you have already registered for courses at the host university, you must notify both the host university and this university. 3) If the arrival of grades at this university is delayed due to the schedule of final classes or grade recognition at the host university, you may face disadvantages in academic affairs such as scholarships, dormitory selection, and graduation evaluation, so please be extra cautious. |

- - Application and document submission must be completed before the deadline. Even if you have applied through Trinity, the credit exchange application will be automatically canceled if the department head's signature/seal is missing or if the application form is not submitted in person.
