To provide freshmen with opportunities for self-directed career exploration, the College Management Team has opened the "Self-making Career Portfolio" course as outlined below.

As this is a highly participatory course, we look forward to the active interest and participation of undergraduate students and faculty advisors.

1. Course Overview

• • Course Title: "Self-making Career Portfolio" [General Elective / 1 Credit]
• • Grading: Pass/Non-Pass (P/NP)

2. Course Details

• • Purpose: This course is designed to provide sufficient opportunities for freshmen to explore their career paths following the consolidation of recruitment fields into broader majors.
• • Team Composition & Activities:
  • A team must consist of at least 5 enrolled students under the guidance of 1 faculty member.
  • ※ Requirement: Must include at least 3 freshmen; up to 2 senior student mentors may participate.
  • Teams must complete at least 30 hours of self-directed activities, such as career/major exploration, discovering new technologies in cutting-edge fields, independent study, or seminars, to earn 1 credit.
• • Faculty Involvement: The faculty advisor must participate for at least 15 hours.
• • Academic Operation: Operated as a flexible semester system.
• • Final Submission: Teams must submit a Course Activity Report within the final exam period.

• • Application Period: August 3, 2026 (Mon) ~ August 21, 2026 (Fri) ※ This schedule is subject to change.

• • Submission Office: Respective Department and Major Offices
• • Required Document: "Self-making Career Portfolio" Course Opening Application Form (see attached file).
• • Course Enrollment Note: Once the course setup is approved after review, course registration for participating students will be processed collectively in bulk by the College Management Team, rather than by individual students.
