※ Check the application deadline of the host university. After applying through Trinity, you must visit and submit the required documents in person.
(Submission Office: Academic Affairs Services Team / Michael Hall H104, 09:00~16:00, excluding lunch break 12:00~13:00)
※ Please make sure to read the attached guide on the credit recognition method and the application screen guide for domestic credit exchange and credit recognition.


1. Eligibility for Credit Exchange

  • • Students who have completed at least 1 academic year (2 semesters).
  • • Students with no record of disciplinary action under university regulations.
  • • Students who are not in their final semester (Students in their 8th semester or higher, or prospective graduates, are not eligible).
  • • Some universities only accept applicants with a GPA of 3.0 or higher (Checkable on the Trinity application screen).

2. Credit Limits

  • • No more than 21 credits can be earned through credit exchange until graduation.
  • • Regular Semester: Up to 6 credits per semester.
  • • Summer/Winter Session: Up to 6 credits per session (This includes all credits earned during the session, such as the school's summer/winter courses, credits from overseas language training, and credit exchange programs).
  • • Courses for which you received a C0 or C+ or lower at this university and are retaking are excluded from credit exchange (Retaking courses completed at this university is only permitted at this university).

3. Tuition

  • • Regular Semester: Pay full tuition to this university (No separate payment to the host university).
  • • Summer/Winter Session: Students must pay the tuition directly to the host university according to its specific session fees.

4-1. How to Apply for Credit Exchange and Credit Recognition (Must check the attached file)
① Log in to Trinity > Academic Affairs (학사정보) > Courses/Grades (수업/성적) > Courses (수업) > Domestic Credit Exchange Application (Gyeongin Area, Seoul Area) (국내학점교류 신청).
② Select the Host University > Click Apply for Credit Exchange (학점교류신청) > (Automatic screen transition) > Enter Credit Recognition Request Details > Select Credit Recognition Method and upload the host university's syllabus.
③ Click the Request/Save Credit Recognition button > Print out the application form.
④ Take the application form and syllabus to the office of the major you wish to receive credit for to obtain a stamp and signature > Visit and submit the application form to the Academic Affairs Services Team (Must be submitted at least 3 days before the application deadline / Late submissions will not be accepted).


4-2. Course Registration Method (Varies by university)

  • • Check the credit exchange notice of each university to see whether you need to register directly or if registration is automatic.
    ① Direct Registration: Log in to the host university's information system and register directly on the course registration date.
    ② Automatic Registration: Submit your desired courses to the host university, and their academic affairs team will automatically register them for you.

4-3. Course Catalog Inquiry: Refer to the guide or website of the respective university.


4-4. Cancellation or Changes After Selection

  • • When canceling credit exchange, you must apply for cancellation through Trinity and immediately notify both the host university and this university's Academic Affairs Services Team.
  • • If any changes occur to your approved credit exchange details (change of applied courses, partial cancellation of courses, etc.), you must notify this university's Academic Affairs Services Team.
    ※ Please note that failure to report cancellations or changes may lead to disadvantages such as non-refundable session fees, finalized F grades, or restrictions on future credit exchange applications.

5. Important Notes

  • • If the arrival of grades to this university is delayed due to the academic and grade finalization schedules of the host university, disadvantages may occur regarding scholarships, dormitory selection, and graduation/completion. Please be extra cautious.
  • • The credit exchange will be automatically canceled if the following steps are not completed at least 3 days before the application deadline: ① Application via Trinity & printing documents → ② Academic Advisor/Department Chair signature → ③ In-person submission of the application to the Academic Affairs Services Team.
  • • For universities where the deadline column is blank, it will be updated once official documents are received. Please check frequently.
  • • The total credits earned outside the university, including domestic university credit exchange, exchange student programs, and overseas field training, are recognized only within 1/2 of the total credits required for graduation. (For transfer students, it is limited to 1/2 of the remaining credits required for graduation after admission / 31 credits for students entering before the '11 academic year, 32 credits for students entering after the '12 academic year).
