We hereby announce the application method for the 2026 Academic Research Scholarship as below, and look forward to the active participation of interested students.

1. Application Period

• Period: June 23, 2026 (Tue) ~ June 29, 2026 (Mon) until 17:00
  • ※ Schedules may vary by department/major, so please check individually.
  • ※ Students on a leave of absence can also apply, but if they are still on leave when the 2nd-semester scholarship is paid, they cannot receive the scholarship benefit.

2. Application Method

• Submit the <Academic Research Scholarship Application Form (refer to the attached template)> to each department/major office.

3. Eligibility Criteria for Scholarship Benefit

Based on the 2026-2nd semester which is the semester of scholarship payment:

• A. Registered enrolled students within the regular semester curriculum (within 8 semesters)
• B. Those with a prior semester GPA of 2.5 or higher & 15 credits or more completed
  • ※ New, transfer, and readmitted students for the 2nd semester of 2026 who do not have a prior semester grade are treated as exceptions.

4. Research Period

• June ~ October 2026

5. Thesis Submission

• Please make inquiries to each department/major office.

6. Scholarship Amount

• Top Excellence: 1 Team (700,000 KRW)
• Excellence: 1 Team (400,000 KRW)
• Encouragement: 1 Team (100,000 KRW)
  • ※ The scholarship amount has changed starting from the 2026-2nd semester (recommendations for participants have expanded due to the adjustment of the scholarship amount).
  • ※ For the smooth payment of the scholarship, please enter your details into TRINITY ➔ Academic Info ➔ Registration/Graduation ➔ Academic Register ➔ Edit Personal Information ➔ Others (Bank Name / Account Holder / Refund Account Number).

【Scholarship Payment Criteria】

• There is no limit on the number of participating departments/majors and research projects per person (However, if research content overlaps, only one will be paid).
• Both independent and joint research are possible.
• The scholarship amount per team is divided and paid by the number of scholarship recipients (N).
  • ※ Scholarship amount per person: Paid as an amount divided by the number of scholarship recipients, excluding those who are disqualified from receiving the scholarship among the research participants.
• This is a living expense support scholarship, and students who have already received a full tuition scholarship for the current semester can also receive it additionally.
• Others: All participants recommended as scholarship recipients will be registered in the on-campus award records (including students on leave of absence).
