Information on applications for return to school and general leave of absence for the second semester of 2026


1. return to school

- Application period: July 6, 2026, (2) 09:00 7. 10. (3) 17:00 (application for military return, early return, general return)

- How to apply: TRINITY ⇒ enrollment/graduation return application

- Notes

○ If you apply for military reinstatement after the expiration of the military leave of absence, you must register your discharge document (name, date of birth, date of enlistment and date of discharge: no more than 2MB, such as military service certificate, front and back of your discharge card, and a copy of your resident registration) in Trinity and approve it after reviewing the person in charge (Since files with passwords cannot be verified, submission without passwords is required.)

○ A person returning to the military early visits the school and submits a document on proof of discharge

▶ Applicants to return to school will change their school status from the opening day of the semester [August 31, 2026 (Monday).

How to apply: Consultation with supervisors after applying for TRINITY (required)

Apply for Trinity (academic information → academic/graduation-student)

Leave of absence counseling (e-mail available) - advisor

※ A person who has been suspended from school cannot apply for leave of absence

: After applying for a leave of absence from Trinity Academic Information, send an e-mail (including the reason for the leave of absence) to the supervisor and request for consultation (email, face-to-face consultation is available)

3. Submission of a visit to the Academic Support Team (H104) in the following cases (no online)

A. In case of continuing general leave of absence after discharge from the military (with a discharge certificate, a general leave of absence, and a professor's signature required)

B. An excess leave of absence after a three-year (6th semester) leave of absence has been approved by the head of the department after consulting with the supervisor through the department's (department) office after completing the application for an excess leave of absence

C. A person who takes a leave of absence from a medical certificate attached to this school or a general hospital for at least four weeks (with a medical certificate and a general leave of absence)


4. Tuition Return Notice

A. The full tuition fee will be refunded only when the leave of absence is submitted by the additional registration period on September 11, 2026. (Fri).

B. Regulations on Leave of absence, return to school, and expulsion In accordance with Article 10 of the Regulations on Return of Payments, students on leave of absence do not pay tuition. If you take a leave of absence after registering, it will be returned according to the tuition return standard. (Tuition and scholarships cannot be carried forward)

C. However, only if you take a leave of absence due to military enlistment or illness, you will be allowed to carry it over to the tuition for the semester you return to school. (Scholarships are also carried over)

D. If a military enlistment or a disease leave of absence drops out after carrying over the tuition, the return rule shall be applied based on the date of initial leave of absence, and scholarships shall not be recognized in this case (including those who have transferred their existing registration)

※ If the base date for the leave of absence is Saturday, Sunday, and public holiday, it shall be the next working day.

※ Weekends and holidays are not accepted.


6. Students who are currently enrolled in a leave of absence

A. If an existing registration transfer student retakes a leave of absence within the additional registration period of the relevant semester after returning to school, the registration transfer will be processed (but if he/she retakes a leave of absence after the end of the additional registration period, it will be returned and carried over according to the payment return standard).

B. If a person takes a leave of absence due to transferring his or her existing registration, the return rule is applied based on the date of the first leave of absence.


7. a military leave of absence

A. A person who takes a leave of absence from the military must submit a military leave of absence directly to the academic support team with a notice of enlistment a week in advance. (A person who joins the military during a general leave of absence must submit an academy for military leave in the same way.)

B. If the enlistment date is after the application period for general leave of absence, the application for conversion to military leave of absence shall be made after applying for general leave of absence in advance.

C. A person who has received measures to return home after joining the army must submit an application for cancellation of military leave within one week from the date of return.

D. Students who wish to carry over their military enlistment must be enrolled when applying for a military leave of absence.

※ Applicants for general leave of absence will change their school status from the opening day of the semester [August 31, 2026 (Monday).
