(Meal Support Scholarship for Graduating Students Entering Society)
Supporting Young Adults’ Future Through Good Food ♡
One Meal Today Can Empower Your Tomorrow.
During the exhausting summer heat and the harsh winter cold, the Wooyang Foundation supports graduating students so they can maintain healthy eating habits, take care of themselves, and confidently take their next step into society.
Eligibility
90 low-income university students nationwide who are expected to graduate
Students expected to graduate between February 2026 and February 2027
Scholarship Amount
Total of KRW 1,000,000 per recipient
First installment: KRW 500,000
Second installment: KRW 500,000
First payment: June
Second payment: October
Application Period
May 20, 2026 (Wed) – June 5, 2026 (Fri), 6:00 PM
Scholarship Activities
Participation in both required and optional activities, including:
Sharing food-related experiences
Food archive projects
Healthy eating and lifestyle content activities
Continued Support After Graduation
Graduation gifts
Invitations to alumni gatherings
Ongoing networking opportunities
Scholarship Activities
1. Required Activities (Mandatory)
1) Sharing Food Experiences and Eating Habits
Scholarship recipients will have opportunities to experience and utilize food products provided through partnerships with Uglyus and other companies.
Participants will freely share their experiences and reviews of meals prepared using the provided food and ingredients. Some content may be featured on the Wooyang Foundation’s channels and online platforms.
2) Wooyang Foundation Food Archive Project
Participants will share their experiences and reflections through writing and other forms of documentation on topics such as:
Youth dietary habits
Quality food access
Food insecurity
Self-care
Selected participants may receive a small honorarium or gift for outstanding contributions.
2. Optional Activities (Voluntary)
Taking Care of Yourself Through Food Contest
This activity goes beyond simply posting photos of meals. Participants are encouraged to share stories about how they maintained healthy eating habits while balancing academic responsibilities and job preparation.
Examples may include:
Personal meal routines
Homemade dishes
Meaningful solo meals
Participants may document their experiences through photos and written reflections.
Ten outstanding participants will each receive a KRW 100,000 Self-Care Encouragement Award.
