The second semester of the 2026 school year

Information on changing the double major (including changing to the first major)


The period and method of application for the change of double major (including the change to the first major)

We inform you as follows, so please apply within a certain period for students who wish to be in the 2nd to 4th grades. 


1. Subject to application: Students in the 2nd to 4th grades (in the case of international students, separate applications are made through the Global Student Support Team)

2. Changes to double majors

A. If you wish to change the double major you are completing to the first major

B. If you wish to change the double major you are completing to another double major

C. If you wish to change your first major to a double major

D. Major not allowed to apply for double major: Free major, pharmacy, convergence major, global management major, vocal music and music major, and special education major, contact separately (02-2164-4170)

-For departments within the Global Business School (International Business Administration Department, Tax Accounting Finance Department, and IT Finance Department), only students affiliated with the university can be changed

-Only foreign students can change to the Department of Korean Language Culture and Art Media Convergence


3. Application period: June 1, 2026, (Monday) 09:00 to June 5, (Fri) 17:00


4. How to apply: Student directly input from "TRINITY" (Trinity-academic/graduation-multi-major change application)


5. Additional document submission for transfer student double major change (application): Submission to academic support team (H104) by 17:00 on June 8, 2026. (Mon.) 

※In case of transfer student, online application (trinity) and offline application (document submission) must be carried out at the same time. If the following documents are not submitted within the deadline, the application for double major change will be automatically canceled. The application period may overlap with the final exam period or may be restricted from entering the major office due to the absence of a professor in charge, so please contact the major office in advance to prepare the document No. 5.

A. Change of double majors (application) (double majors/first majors → double majors)

① a full university transcript

② Existing transfer student credit card (printed from Trinity-class/grade) Part 1

③ Academic report (for academic management) - By semester ※Not a certificate of achievement. Trinity-class / output from grade) Part 1

④ Confirmation of enrollment for this semester (printed from Trinity-class/grade) Part 1

⑤ One copy of the transferred student's major credit statement

①②③ documents were submitted to the office of the desired major (department) for the change of double major (application) and the ①②③ documents were submitted to the academic support team (Michael Kwan No. 104)

B. Applicant for the first major intensification

• Change to 1st major in depth (double major → 1st major in depth): No additional submission data

※All college credits recognized as second major credits have been canceled

※Fourth grade transfer students cannot apply for double majors


6. Results of double major change: scheduled for June 12, 2026 (Fri)


7. Information on applying for double majors to new departments

A. Applications can be made only when your grade or higher exists in the newly established department

(Yes, for newly established departments in 2026, you can apply for 2027-2 and 2028-3 grades.)

B. Graduation is possible from the time when the first new department student can graduate

(Yes, for newly established departments in 2026, they can graduate in February 2030 after completing their studies by 2029)


8. Precautions

A. Change of double major (second major) (application) can only be made if there is a spare seat in the relevant major (department)

B. Please note that graduation may be delayed due to changes in double majors

All. If a person who has completed a double major in teaching (both the first and second majors) wants to change his or her second major (including changing to the first major), visit the teaching department and office after applying for a double major change and submit a written waiver for completion of a double major in the second major (if not submitted, the disadvantage lies with the student himself)

D. Only students who are completing teaching professions as their first major can apply for a double major in the special education department. The teaching department is responsible for the change of the double major and the remaining seats. For more information, please contact the teaching department's office (Michael Kwan H104, 02-2164-6522)

E. Only students who have passed the practical test can change their double majors for applying for a double major to the music department, so please visit the music department office (Concert Hall No. 108, 02-2164-4501) in advance

F. In the case of transfer students, if the documents are not submitted within the deadline, the application for a double major change will be automatically canceled

Information on application/change of non-construction


We will inform you of the period and method of applying for minor majors and receiving changes as follows

Students who wish to attend the 2nd to 4th grades should apply within a certain period.


1. Applicants: Students in the 2nd to 4th grades


2. Application period: June 1, 2026, (Monday) 09:00 to June 5, (Fri) 17:00


3. How to apply: Students apply for direct entry in "TRINITY"

(Application for change of Trinity-Academic/Graduation-Inferiority)


4. Information on applying for a minor in a new department

A. Applications can be made only when your grade or higher exists in the newly established department

(Yes, for newly established departments in 2026, you can apply for 2027-2 and 2028-3 grades.)

B. Graduation is possible from the time when the first new department student can graduate

(Yes, for newly established departments in 2026, they can graduate in February 2030 after completing their studies by 2029)


5. Precautions

A. At least 21 credits must be completed in accordance with the curriculum set by each major (department)

(Refer to the minor major section of the Korean manual for the year of admission.)

B. It is not possible to complete a minor in the Department of Free Major, International Business Administration, Tax Accounting Finance, IT Finance, Convergence Major, Music Department, Special Education, Pharmacy, Global Business Administration, Vocal Music Department, Korean Language Culture Department, Art Media Convergence Department

C. Even if a person who has completed a minor major does not meet the requirements for completion of a minor until graduation, if other graduation requirements are completed, it will be treated as graduation, and the classification of completion will be maintained as "failure."

D. Contact each major's office for minor completion courses
