The Student Innovation Supporters under the CUK Vision Innovation Institute is hosting the 💡 The 4th CUK Innovation Idea-thon Competition 💡. We look forward to your active participation.

With "Shared University" and "A.I." as its core themes, this idea-thon is a program where students of The Catholic University of Korea (CUK) can contemplate the future direction of universities and propose creative and feasible innovative ideas. Explore various possibilities for future university innovation, such as resource sharing between universities, expanding student experiences, and utilizing AI technology in a rapidly changing educational environment! 🚀




📍 Event Details

  • Date & Time: May 25, 2026 (Mon) 10:00 – 18:30 (End time may vary depending on progress.)

  • Location: Conference Room, Cardinal Kim Sou-hwan Hall

  • Application Period: May 15 (Fri) 19:00 – May 23 (Sat) 24:00

  • Eligibility: Current students of The Catholic University of Korea

  • Capacity: First 15 teams to apply on a first-come, first-served basis (2–4 members per team)

  • Hosted/Organized by: CUK Vision Innovation Institute / Student Innovation Supporters




🏆 Awards & Prizes

(Awards may not be granted if there are no qualified recipients.)

  • 🥇 Grand Prize (1 team): 500,000 KRW

  • 🥈 Top Excellence Award (1 team): 400,000 KRW

  • 🥉 Excellence Award (2 teams): 300,000 KRW each

  • 🎖️ Participation Award (3 teams): 200,000 KRW each




❗ Important Notes

  • Only the team leader should submit the application form on behalf of the team.

  • The detailed topic will be revealed on the day of the event, and the competition will run in a team-based idea-thon format.

  • Presentation materials (PPT) must be created and presented by each team on the day of the event.

  • For smooth participation, it is highly recommended to conduct preliminary research on "Shared University" and "AI-based Future University Innovation."

  • 09:30 ~ 10:00 | Orientation and Event Briefing

  • 10:00 ~ 10:30 | Detailed Topic Reveal & Topic Selection by Team

  • 10:30 ~ 15:30 | Team Idea-thon & Presentation Material Creation (Lunch and refreshments provided)

  • 15:30 ~ 16:00 | Presentation Preparation & Submission

  • 16:00 ~ 17:00 | Team Presentations and Q&A

  • 17:00 ~ 17:30 | Judging and Award Ceremony

  • 17:30 ~ 18:00 | Wrap-up and Dismissal
