Notice of Application for Preferred Workplaces

 in the 2026 Summer Vacation Intensive Work-Study Program 


Regarding the National Work-Study Scholarship Program for the summer vacation of the 2026 academic year, the application for student preferred workplaces is announced as follows. Students who wish to participate must apply within the period.

1. Program Overview

  1. Purpose: Enhancing continuous National Work-Study students' self-competency development and employment capabilities.

  2. Period: [During the 2026-1st Semester Summer Vacation] July 1, 2026 (Wed) ~ August 30, 2026 (Sun), until the start date of the 2nd semester.

  3. Support Amount: [Off-Campus Work] Hourly scholarship of 12,790 KRW

  4. Work Hours: Up to 8 hours per day, up to 40 hours per week available (Individual limit hours will be announced upon selection)
    ※ The operating period varies by workplace and institution, but the work end date must align with the university's deadline.

2. Application Period: May 20, 2026 (Wed) 09:00 ~ May 29, 2026 (Fri) 18:00 (*Strict Deadline)

3. Eligibility:

① Among applicants for the National Work-Study Scholarship within the integrated application periods (1st, 2nd, and 3rd) for the 1st semester of the 2026 academic year,

② Students who wish to participate in the summer vacation intensive work program (*Excluding students currently working; duplicate participation is not allowed)

*Includes all work activities such as 2026-1 On-Campus Work (including internships), Scholarship Teaching Assistants, National Work-Study, and KOSAF Mentoring Programs.

<Important Notices Regarding Application>

※ You must strictly adhere to the application period, and selection is only possible if you apply to both KOSAF and TRINITY. (*Please note that if even one method is omitted, you will be excluded from selection.)

※ The number of preferred workplaces you can apply for at KOSAF is 5, and the final workplace matching is selected by the foundation. (*Matched to the workplace of final 1st priority; please refer to the manual and procedures to apply.)

※ Selection is possible only when the application status for the 2026-1st semester National Work-Study Scholarship is 'Documents Completed' and the income percentile has been calculated.

※ The detailed operating period for actual work varies by institution and may end early due to the institution's circumstances.

4. How to Apply (Refer to the attached manual):

: KOSAF Website (www.kosaf.go.kr) > Scholarships > National Work-Study Scholarship > Work-Study Scholarship Management > Apply for Preferred Work-Study Institution > Click 2026 1st Semester [During Vacation] (1st Round) > Select Preferred Workplace > Save > Confirm Final Application

② School TRINITY

: TRINITY > Academic Information > Scholarship > Scholarship Application > Click 'Add' in the middle right > 2026 1st Semester > Scholarship Name - Select 'National Work-Study (During Vacation)', Work Department - Select 'Student Support Team' > Enter all 'Preferred Workplaces' in the Reason for Application > Save > Confirm Final Application

※ Preferred workplaces are pre-selected by the foundation according to the priority order applied for by the student. (Up to 5 choices can be selected)

※ Please check the work period and work details for each selected institution and judge whether you can actually participate before applying. (Avoid dropping out midway after being selected; you must be able to substantially perform work activities throughout the vacation.)

* The above schedule is subject to minor changes depending on the academic calendar of the foundation and the university. (Notice will be given in case of changes)

6. Precautions (Mandatory Reading)

※ If you do not submit your final application after selecting and entering preferred workplaces (institutions), you cannot participate in the program. Please ensure that you verify the 'Application Completed' status in your application history after applying. (Check if you have completed up to the final submission)

※ Students currently participating in the 2026-1st semester National Work-Study Scholarship, College Student Youth Education Support Project, or Multicultural/North Korean Defector Student Mentoring Project are not allowed to participate concurrently. Also, students currently working on or off campus are not allowed to participate concurrently, so please be careful with your application. (All work types such as on-campus work/on-campus internship/national work/scholarship teaching assistant/mentoring work; only 1 type of work performed at the university can be participated in per semester.)

※ For preferred workplaces, you "must apply to both KOSAF and the school TRINITY." (Excluded from targets if even one is omitted)

※ Verification of selection, such as selection results and preliminary education, will be announced through school notices. (Refer to the schedule)

※ Please refrain from dropping out immediately after selection or during the work period. Please apply only if you can substantially participate in the work and operate sincerely.

(*The National Work-Study Program is an activity based on mutual promise and trust among the university, the institution, and the student.)
