Application Procedure

1) [TRINITY] → [Academic Information] → [Courses/Grades] → [Courses] → [Domestic Cross-Registration Application (Catholic Universities)] and complete the application information

2) [TRINITY] → [Academic Information] → [Courses/Grades] → [Courses] → [Domestic Cross-Registration Credit Recognition] and complete the credit recognition information, then print out the required documents

3) Obtain the signature/seal of the major advisor or department chair on the printed documents and submit them to the Academic Affairs Services Team (Total 2 documents: Credit Recognition Application Form + Consent Form for Collection, Use, and Provision of Personal Information)

Eligibility

1) Students who have completed at least one year of study

2) Students with no disciplinary record under university regulations

3) Students in their final graduation semester are not eligible (students in or beyond the 8th semester / expected graduates not eligible)

Course Enrollment and Scope

1) Students may take any courses offered by both universities, including taking only courses from the host university. (However, teaching certification courses and license-related courses must be completed at The Catholic University of Korea.)

2) Students may not take courses identical to those already completed. (Please consult the relevant department regarding course equivalency.)

3) Retaking courses previously completed at The Catholic University of Korea is only possible at The Catholic University of Korea. (Retaking through the host university is not permitted.)

Credit Limit

1) Students may apply for up to 6 credits total, including credits earned through The Catholic University of Korea seasonal semesters, International Language Education Institute credit-recognized courses, overseas language training credit recognition, and cross-registration programs

2) Courses being retaken due to receiving a grade of C+ or below at The Catholic University of Korea are excluded from cross-registration. Retaking courses completed at The Catholic University of Korea is only allowed at The Catholic University of Korea.

Cross-Registration Application

Credit Recognition Application

1) Required document: Submit the “Credit Recognition Application Form” in person

2) Submission deadline: Submit to the Academic Affairs Services Team at least three days before the recommendation deadline listed in the partner university table

3) Enter credit recognition information in TRINITY (uploading the host university syllabus is mandatory) → obtain department chair approval/signature → submit in person to the Academic Affairs Services Team

Important Notes

1) Please ensure that the actual course registration at the host university matches the submitted credit recognition application details.

2) Cancellation of cross-registration: Students must submit a cancellation request through the TRINITY cross-registration application page. If registered at the host university, students must notify both the host university and The Catholic University of Korea.

3) If grade reporting from the host university is delayed due to the host university’s academic schedule or grading process, disadvantages may occur regarding scholarships, academic probation, dormitory selection, and graduation. Please take extra caution.
