The Incheon Institute for Talent & Lifelong Education is seeking passionate college students for its 2026 Overseas Volunteer Program in Kyrgyzstan. This scholarship covers all expenses for volunteering and cultural exchange.

1. Application Period

• May 4 (Mon) – May 20 (Wed), 2026, 23:59 (KST)

2. Eligibility

Applicants must meet at least one of the following residency conditions and satisfy the academic/financial criteria:

  • The student or their parent has been a registered resident of Incheon Metropolitan City as of the announcement date (born before August 5, 2007).

  • Students currently enrolled in a university located within Incheon (no residency restriction for Incheon).

• Academic Criteria:

  • Current Students: GPA of 3.0/4.5 (or 2.8/4.3) or higher in the previous semester.

  • Freshmen: High school senior 2nd-semester average grade of 5 or higher, or GED score of 2/5 or higher in core subjects.

• Financial/Social Criteria: Must belong to a priority group (e.g., Basic Livelihood recipients, Next-lowest income class, Multi-child families, North Korean refugee families, etc.).

3. Program Overview

• Volunteer Location: Bishkek area, Kyrgyzstan.

• Schedule: August 4 (Tue) – August 14 (Fri), 2026 (10 nights, 11 days).

• Activities: Labor service (environment improvement), educational service (Korean classes), cultural exchange, and cultural exploration.

• Scholarship Coverage: Full coverage for volunteer activities, food/accommodation, flights, and travel insurance.

4. Application & Selection

• Selection Process: Application → Document Review (May 22–29) → Interview Candidate Announcement (May 29) → Interview (June 4) → Final Announcement (June 8, 18:00).

• Mandatory Events: Selected students MUST attend three Pre-OT and Launching ceremonies in June and July.
