1. Program Overview

Eligibility

  1. Undergraduate students enrolled at The Catholic University of Korea who have completed at least 4 semesters
    (Students expected to graduate or those enrolled for 8 or more semesters are not eligible)

  2. Transfer students must have completed at least one semester at this university

  3. GPA of 3.00 or higher as of the semester immediately preceding the application

Application Procedure

  1. Log in to Trinity → Academic Information → Course/Grades → Course →
    “Domestic Credit Exchange Application (Korea Univ./Sookmyung Women’s Univ./Yeungnam Univ./Sungkonghoe Univ.)”
    → Complete the application and print 3 documents

  2. Trinity → Academic Information → Course/Grades → Course →
    “Domestic Credit Exchange Credit Recognition Application”
    → Complete and print the credit recognition application

  3. Visit the department office with printed documents and Korea University forms
    → Obtain signatures from the major advisor and department head

  4. Submit all documents to the Academic Affairs Services Team

Required Documents

  1. Credit Exchange Application (1 copy) + Credit Recognition Application (1 copy)
    (University form, printed via Trinity)

  2. Consent Form for Collection, Use, and Provision of Personal Information (1 copy)

  3. Inter-University Credit Exchange Application (1 copy)

  4. Korea University Credit Exchange Application (Summer 2026) (1 copy)




Selection Process

  1. Selected by the Dean of Academic Affairs within the quota and approved by the President

  2. Selection is based on GPA (descending order)


    • Tie-breakers:
      (1) Higher total earned credits
      (2) More completed semesters

Quota

  1. Within 2% of each department’s enrollment capacity

  2. Maximum of 10 students recommended per university (no limit for summer session)




Course Enrollment

  1. Students may take any course offered at either university
    (Teacher certification or license-related courses must be taken at the home university)

  2. Courses already completed cannot be retaken

  3. Retaking courses is only allowed at the home university




Credit Limit

  1. Summer session: Up to 6 credits (combined from both universities)

  2. Includes all credits earned during the summer term (e.g., language programs)




Grading and Credit Recognition

  1. Credits earned at Korea University will be recognized and recorded on the transcript
    after conversion to this university’s grading system

  2. Credits are recognized on a one-to-one basis

  3. Total transferable credits from domestic/international programs
    are limited to half of the required graduation credits
    (Transfer students: up to 31–32 credits depending on admission year)

Application Submission

  1. Deadline: May 12, 2026 (Tue) 17:00

  2. Required documents: 5 copies total

  3. Procedure:
    Enter credit recognition details in Trinity (course syllabus required)
    → Obtain department approval
    → Submit to Academic Affairs Services Team

Online Registration (Korea University)

  1. May 15, 2026 (Fri) 10:00 – May 21, 2026 (Thu) 12:00

  2. Failure to register online → disqualification

  3. Must check the attached guidelines

3. Application Notes

Important Notes

  1. Ensure that course registration at Korea University matches the credit recognition application

  2. If changes occur, 반드시 notify the Academic Affairs Services Team

  3. Cancellation requires:


    • Cancellation via Trinity

    • Notification to both universities

  4. Delays in grade reporting may affect scholarships, academic probation, dormitory selection, and graduation
