<Notice on Credit Exchange Program with Universities in Seoul and Gyeonggi-Incheon Area for the 2026 Summer Session>

※ Please check the application deadline of each partner university, and after applying via Trinity, make sure to visit in person and submit the required documents.
(Submission: Academic Affairs Services Team / Michael Hall (Administration)(H) Room 104, 09:00–17:00, excluding lunch break 12:00–13:00)

※ Please carefully read the attached guidelines on credit recognition and the application instructions for domestic credit exchange and credit recognition.

1. Eligibility for Application

• Students who have completed at least one year (2 semesters)

• Students with no disciplinary record according to university regulations

• Students who are not in their final semester (Not eligible if enrolled for 8 semesters or more or expected to graduate)

• Some universities require a GPA of 3.0 or higher (Checkable in the Trinity application system)

2. Credit Limit

• Up to 6 credits per semester (including all credits earned through seasonal sessions at The Catholic University of Korea, language institute credits, overseas language training, and credit exchange programs)

• Courses previously taken at The Catholic University of Korea with a grade of C+ or below for retaking are not eligible for credit exchange (Retaking is only allowed at this university)

3. Tuition

• Students must directly pay tuition to the host university according to its seasonal session fees

4-1. Application Method for Credit Exchange and Credit Recognition (Refer to attached file)
① Log in to Trinity → Academic Information → Course/Grades → Course → Domestic Credit Exchange Application (Seoul/Gyeonggi-Incheon Area)
② Select partner university → Click “Apply for Credit Exchange” → (Automatic transition) Enter credit recognition details → Select recognition type and upload syllabus from host university
③ Click “Apply/Save” → Print the application form
④ Visit the department office with the application form and syllabus to obtain signature and seal → Submit documents to Academic Affairs Services Team
(Submission required at least 3 days before the deadline / Late submission not accepted)

4-2. Course Registration Method (Varies by University)

• Check each university’s guideline

① Direct Registration: Log in to the university system and register during the designated period
② Automatic Registration: Submit desired courses to the host university, and registration will be processed by their academic office

4-3. Course List Inquiry

• Refer to each university’s website and timetable

4-4. Cancellation After Selection

• Cancellation must be processed through Trinity

• Notify both the host university and the Academic Affairs Services Team

Failure to notify may result in disadvantages such as no refund of tuition or receiving an F grade

5. Important Notes

• Delayed grade submission from the host university may affect scholarships, dormitory selection, and graduation

• Application and submission must be completed at least 3 days before the deadline; failure to submit signed documents results in automatic cancellation

• Universities without deadlines will be updated later; please check regularly

• Total external credits (domestic exchange, overseas exchange, internships, etc.) are recognized only within half of the required credits for graduation
  (For transfer students: within half of required credits after admission / before 2011: 31 credits, after 2012: 32 credits)
