1. Submission Deadline

  • By April 28 (Tue), 2026, 15:00

Category

Details

Eligibility

  • Undergraduate students enrolled at The Catholic University of Korea who have completed at least 4 semesters
    (Applicants expected to graduate or enrolled for more than 8 semesters are not eligible)

  • Transfer students may apply only after completing at least one semester at The Catholic University of Korea

  • Applicants must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher up to the previous semester


Application Procedure


  • Trinity → Academic Information → Course/Grades → Course → Domestic Credit Exchange Application
    (Korea University / Sookmyung Women’s University / Yeungnam University / Sungkonghoe University)

  • After applying, print the application form, obtain signatures from the academic advisor and department head, and submit it to the Academic Affairs Services Team


Quota

  • No limit (Maximum of 3 semesters per student, including cancellations after recommendation)

Course Completion and Scope

  • Students may take courses offered by both universities, but only courses from the host university can be taken
    (Teaching-related or certification courses must be taken at The Catholic University of Korea)

  • Courses identical to previously completed courses cannot be taken (Consult the department for confirmation)

  • Retaking courses completed at The Catholic University of Korea is only possible at this university

Credit Limits

  • Summer/Winter session: Up to 6 credits total from both universities

  • Includes all external credits such as seasonal courses, language institute credits, and overseas language training

Grading and Credit Recognition

  • Courses completed at the host university will be recognized and recorded as equivalent courses at The Catholic University of Korea

  • Grades earned will be recognized as they are

  • Credits are recognized equal to those earned at the host university

  • Total external credits (domestic exchange, overseas exchange, field training, etc.) are limited to within half of the graduation requirements

4. Course Information

△Class Period

  • June 23 (Tue) – July 13 (Mon), 2026 (5 days per week, excluding public holidays)

△Application Submission

  • Submit the credit recognition application form by April 28 (Tue), 2026, 15:00

△Course Inquiry

  • From April 29 (Wed), 2026




5. Application Method and Notes

△Application Method (Credit Exchange & Recognition)

  • Refer to the attached file for application screen and instructions

  • Enter credit recognition details in Trinity (Upload syllabus from the host university required)
    → Print → Obtain department head’s signature → Submit to Academic Affairs Services Team

  • If the 2026 syllabus is unavailable, upload a syllabus from a previous year

△Important Notes

  • Ensure no discrepancy between actual course registration at Sookmyung Women’s University and credit recognition application

  • Cancellation must be processed in Trinity; if registered at the host university, notify both universities

  • Delays in grade submission from the host university may affect scholarships, dormitory selection, and graduation




6. Additional Information

  • Application and document submission must be completed before the deadline

  • Even if applied via Trinity, failure to submit the signed application form will result in automatic cancellation
