Gyeonggi Province supports international exchange and local diplomacy activities of local governments in response to local disappearance. To expand opportunities for overseas work experience and strengthen the globalization capabilities of Gyeonggi youth, we are recruiting Gyeonggi Province candidates for the "Local Youth Talent Deployment Program to Overseas Diplomatic Missions" hosted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. [Deployment Overview]

○ Period of Deployment: 6 months (July – December 2026) ※ Specific departure dates may change depending on the circumstances of the diplomatic missions and visa issuance.

○ Number of Candidates Selected by Gyeonggi Province: 5 persons ※ Up to 34 persons nationwide ※ Final selection will be made by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs through recommendations of up to 5 persons per metropolitan local government.

○ Deployment Location: 32 overseas diplomatic missions ※ Refer to [Attachment 1] for target missions and recruitment numbers per mission. ※ The target diplomatic missions may change at the time of deployment depending on the situation of the host country and international affairs.

○ Recruitment Period: March 25 (Wed) – April 6 (Mon), 2026, 18:00

○ Eligibility:

1. Korean citizens aged 19-34 whose registered address in the resident registration is Gyeonggi Province as of the announcement date. ※ (Note) As this project is hosted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the applicable age criteria for participation differ from the age of youth defined under the "Gyeonggi Province Framework Ordinance on Youth."

2. Current students or graduates of universities located in Gyeonggi Province with an academic score of 80 or higher out of 100.

* For universities with campuses in other cities/provinces, eligibility is limited to those whose affiliated department (major) is located in an administrative district within Gyeonggi Province.

3. Holders of a TOEIC score of 700 or higher, an equivalent certified English test score, or an equivalent certified second foreign language test score (B1).

* Scores must be within the validity period (2 years) as of the application date.

4. Individuals with experience participating in youth projects of Gyeonggi Province or cities/counties within the province. * Limited to those with participation experience in the last 3 years (2023 and later).
