Notice on Student Applications for the Korea Student Aid Foundation National Scholarship Program for Outstanding Students (Humanities 100 Years), 2026
The Korea Student Aid Foundation announces the student application process for the 2026 National Scholarship Program for Outstanding Students (Humanities 100 Years). We encourage eligible students to apply.
□ Eligibility
Applicants must be Korean nationals enrolled in humanities and social sciences departments at The Catholic University of Korea, and meet one of the following conditions:
① First-year freshmen
Eligible for the Major Exploration Track
Support for up to 4 years (maximum of 8 regular semesters)
② Third-year students
Eligible for the Major Development Track
Support for up to 2 years (maximum of 4 regular semesters)
□ Application Period
Mar. 6, 2026 (Fri) 09:00 – Mar. 25, 2026 (Wed) 18:00
Additional applications after the deadline will not be accepted. Please ensure that you apply within the designated period.
□ Selection Criteria
The university will select candidates based on academic performance and student competencies.
For the Major Development Track (3rd year), achievements such as awards from competitions or contests will be reflected in the university’s selection criteria.
If you have any award records, please submit supporting documents to the Student Affairs Team by Mar. 15.
Applicants will be selected in order of score, with higher-ranked applicants assigned to Type I, and subsequent applicants assigned to Type II.
Scores will be weighted according to the Korea Student Aid Foundation’s financial aid support level.
Applicants who cannot verify their financial aid support level for the Spring Semester 2026 will be considered as Level 10 and assigned the lowest score.
※ Basic Requirements
For the Major Development Track (3rd year), applicants must meet the following requirements:
Cumulative GPA until the previous semester:
90 percentile or higher, or
GPA 3.6 or higher (out of 4.5) / 3.4 or higher (out of 4.3)
Earned credits must be at least 40% of the total credits required for graduation at the university.
□ Application Method
Applicants must apply directly through the Korea Student Aid Foundation website and bring their joint certificate (digital certificate).

□ Future Schedule
(Students) Pre-application period: Mar. 6 – Mar. 25, 2026
(Foundation) Notification of scholarship quotas allocated to each university: April 2026
(University) Selection and recommendation of new scholarship recipients (including candidates): April–May 2026
(Foundation) Final selection announcement and scholarship/living stipend payment: Late May 2026 (expected)

The above application period is the pre-application period. Please make sure to submit your application within the deadline.
