Notice on Attendance for Employed Students During the 2026 Spring Semester

Starting from the 2026 Spring Semester, the regulations regarding attendance for employed students have been revised. Please refer to the following information and submit your application accordingly.

  1. Eligible Students for Attendance Management
① Students who have earned 111 credits or more at the time of application and are employed during the semester, and are expected to graduate in August 2026, among full-time undergraduate students.
② Students who are currently employed (regular or contract-based) and are able to submit employment verification documents such as a Certificate of Employment, Employment Contract, and Confirmation of Enrollment in the Four Major Social Insurance Programs.

  2. Required Documents for Attendance Recognition During the Semester
① Absence Permission Form (Attachment 1)
② Employment verification documents such as a Certificate of Employment, Employment Contract, and Confirmation of Enrollment in the Four Major Social Insurance Programs
③ Certificate of Employment and Confirmation of Enrollment in the Four Major Social Insurance Programs (to be submitted twice: at the time of application and at the end of the semester)
④ Consent Form for the Collection and Use of Personal Information (Attachment 2)
⑤ Employment Attendance Confirmation Form (Attachment 3)
⑥ Preliminary Attendance Confirmation Form (Attachment 4)

  3. Operational Guidelines
① Students applying for attendance recognition due to employment must submit a Certificate of Employment, Employment Contract, and Confirmation of Enrollment in the Four Major Social Insurance Programs.
② Students applying for the attendance recognition system must agree to the collection and use of personal information. Employment status may be verified, and attendance recognition may be granted if the relevant conditions are confirmed.
③ If the information in the attendance recognition application or supporting documents is found to be false, the approval may be canceled.
④ In principle, the attendance recognition application may be submitted only once.
⑤ If a student who has already applied for attendance recognition during a regular semester also applies during a seasonal semester, it will be considered one application. (However, if taking a seasonal semester course, the reason and a certificate of expected graduation must be submitted.)
⑥ These guidelines serve as the general rule. Any other cases will be reviewed and decided by the Dean of Academic Affairs.
⑦ The attendance management system for employed students applies only to attendance recognition. Examinations (midterm/final) must be taken in the same manner as other students.
⑧ Employment during the semester is recognized only for employment within Korea. Employment at a family business or as an executive of a company is not eligible for attendance recognition.
⑨ If a student resigns during the semester, documents verifying the period of employment must be submitted (such as Employment Insurance Records or Confirmation of Enrollment in the Four Major Social Insurance Programs).
⑩ Submission deadlines for required documents

  • Employment during vacation: within two weeks from the beginning of the semester

  • Employment during the semester: within two weeks from the employment start date
