Notice on Student Applications for the 2nd Round of the National Work-Study Scholarship (Spring 2026)
The Korea Student Aid Foundation (KOSAF) announces the 2nd application period for the National Work-Study Scholarship for the 1st semester of the 2026 academic year. Students who wish to participate in the Summer Intensive Work-Study Program are required to apply within the period below.
1. Application Information
1) Application Period

February 3 (Tue), 2026, 09:00 – March 17 (Tue), 2026, 18:00
2) How to Apply
Website: KOSAF (www.kosaf.go.kr) → Scholarships → Apply for Scholarships → Complete Application
Mobile App: KOSAF App → Left Menu → One-Click Application → Apply
※ Please refer to the attached guide for detailed instructions and confirm your final application status (final submission and document upload) in the scholarship application status page.
3) Eligible Applicants
Students who wish to participate in the Summer Intensive Work-Study Program for Spring 2026 and did not apply during the 1st integrated application period
※ Students who applied in the 1st round do not need to apply again in the 2nd round.
※ Participation in semester-time work-study is limited to 1st-round applicants only.
※ 2nd-round applicants may apply and participate only in the Summer Intensive Work-Study Program.
※ Application must be completed during this 2nd-round period to be eligible for the Summer Intensive Work-Study Program (preferred workplace selection will be announced later).
4) Eligibility Requirements
Enrolled students within the standard program length (up to 8 semesters)
Completion of at least 12 credits in the previous semester with a minimum GPA of 1.88 (70/100)
Household income level (bracket) 9 or below
Exclusions
Students on leave of absence for Spring 2026, graduates (including deferred graduation), withdrawn students, students beyond standard semesters, graduate students
Employed students during enrollment (early employment; verifiable via employment certificate and social insurance)
International students, industry-commissioned students, part-time registrants, lifelong education registrants, etc.
Students with academic status changes during the semester (leave, withdrawal, graduation) are not eligible to continue work-study
Duplicate participation is not permitted across work-study programs (National Work-Study, Teacher College Tutoring, Multicultural/North Korean Defector Mentoring, etc.)
※ Students expected to graduate in August 2026 may work until the day before the February degree conferral (prior to academic status change).
※ On-campus work, internships, and National Work-Study scholarships may be received even if the total exceeds the tuition amount.
2. Summer Intensive Work-Study Information (Details to be re-announced upon selection)
1) Work Details
Type: Off-campus work (National Work-Study – vacation period)
Hourly Wage: KRW 12,430 (as of the announcement date)
Work Period: Summer vacation of Spring 2026 (July–August 2026)
2) Selection Criteria
Meets the basic eligibility requirements above
Applied to both KOSAF Summer Intensive Work-Study and Trinity (including preferred workplace selection)
Not currently participating in any work during the semester (National/On-campus/Internship; no overlap)
Priority criteria per KOSAF guidelines:
Priority groups (e.g., students with disabilities, multi-child households, self-reliant youth)
Lower income bracket first
※ At least 60% of selected students will be those who did not work in the previous semester (KOSAF recommendation).
※ If first-priority candidates decline or are unavailable, the next priority will be selected.
※ If priority quotas are not met, excluded groups may be considered.
※ Students participating in other KOSAF programs in 2026 (e.g., Youth Education Support, Multicultural/North Korean Defector Mentoring) are not eligible (no overlap).
※ Final selection depends on available national budget at the time of selection.
3) Additional Notes
Completion of preferred workplace selection (KOSAF & Trinity) is required for final selection (to be announced).
Scholarships are paid monthly based on actual hours worked × hourly wage (payment expected in the third week of the following month).
Payments are made to the student’s personal bank account registered with KOSAF/Trinity.
Only one work type may be participated in at a time (semester-time work-study, vacation intensive work-study, on-campus work, internships, mentoring, etc.).

Preferred Workplace Selection (Students): Late May (TBA)
Selection of Work-Study Students (University): June (TBA)
Summer Intensive Work-Study: July–August 2026
