Announcement for Recruitment of Domestic Graduate Students for Andrea Hall

1. Schedule

  • Application Period: January 12, 2026 (Mon) 00:00 – January 16, 2026 (Fri) 15:00
     ※ Selection based on email arrival order

  • Announcement of Accepted Applicants: January 22, 2026 (Thu) 16:00
     ※ Posted on the dormitory website (accepted list + room assignment)

  • Dormitory Fee Payment: February 2, 2026 (Mon) – February 4, 2026 (Wed), 09:00–16:00
     ※ Bank transfer or card payment

  • Regular Move-in: February 28, 2026 (Sat) – March 1, 2026 (Sun), 10:00–17:00
     ※ Strictly during designated hours

  • Regular Move-out


    • General (4 months / 16 weeks): June 20, 2026 (Sat)

    • Long-term (6 months / 24 weeks): August 15, 2026 (Sat)
       ※ 10:00–17:00 (strictly enforced)




2. Application Period and Eligibility

    • Graduate students enrolled or newly admitted (domestic students) for Spring Semester 2026 at The Catholic University of Korea

    • Applicants who agree to comply with dormitory regulations

    • No restrictions on grades or earned credits

    • No regional restrictions

  • Ineligibility


    • Students with a history of forced eviction

    • Individuals with infectious diseases or their caregivers

    • Individuals deemed unsuitable for communal living

    • Applicants who provide false personal information

    • Any other cases deemed inappropriate by the Dormitory Management Committee

3. Application Eligibility Criteria

a. No restrictions on academic grades or earned credits
b. No regional restrictions for application
c. Students with a history of forced eviction are not eligible to apply




4. Application Method

  • Complete the forms and submit via email (signed and submitted as a PDF file)

6. ★ Mandatory Move-in Information

a. Move-in Period:
February 28, 2026 (Sat) – March 1, 2026 (Sun), 10:00–17:00

b. Move-in Location:
Andrea Hall (Building A), B1 Floor Lobby

c. Required Documents for Move-in
(
Move-in is not permitted if documents are not submitted)

  1. Tuberculosis (TB) Test Result (returned after verification)


    • Any medical document clearly stating “No TB findings” is acceptable
      (e.g., health checkup report, doctor’s note, health certificate, TB X-ray confirmation)

    • Valid only if test date and issue date are on or after December 1, 2025

  2. Identification (Student ID acceptable)

  3. Personal Bedding (mattress cover required / rental available), personal belongings

d. Prohibited Items

  • Personal electric heating appliances such as electric blankets, irons, coffee pots, microwave ovens, electric heaters, portable burners

  • Incense, mosquito coils, and other flammable items
    (
    All prohibited items are banned for fire prevention; possession may result in expulsion)




7. Move-in Procedure

Andrea Hall (Building A) B1 Lobby
→ ID verification & submission of required documents
→ Issuance of access card
→ Move into assigned room

8. Issuance of Cash Receipt

a. In the case of Catholic University dormitories, the dormitory does not fall under businesses obligated to issue cash receipts pursuant to the Enforcement Decree of the Value-Added Tax Act and the Income Tax Act.

b. However, for the convenience of dormitory residents and parents, cash receipts are issued. Please note that year-end tax deductions may be applicable for the actual dormitory fee paid.

c. When applying for admission, please ensure that the actual cash receipt issuance number is accurately entered in the “Cash Receipt Issuance Number” field.

d. The cash receipt issuance number cannot be changed once submitted. Please enter it carefully. Issuance using an unregistered number with the National Tax Service is not possible, and all responsibility for incorrect entry lies with the applicant.

e. For the year 2026, cash receipts for dormitory fees will be issued in a lump sum at year-end, based on the actual amount paid (including any refunds).




9. ★ Mandatory Important Notes

a. Selection is made in the order of email receipt (first-come, first-served).
b. Admission results and room assignments will be announced via the dormitory website (individual notifications will not be provided).
c. Room assignments are randomly assigned by the dormitory administration.
d. Failure to make payment within the designated period will result in cancellation of selection.
