※ Double major students: Up to 6 credits can be applied for, including both first and second majors.
※ Students completing a major’s advanced program: Up to 6–15 credits can be applied for.
※ Interdisciplinary credits can only be applied for the first and second majors, not for minors.
※ The total number of credits earned will not change, and the credits will only be recognized as part of the student's major credits.Application Method and Result Confirmation
▶ If there are eligible interdisciplinary courses among the courses you have taken, apply via Trinity (Trinity → Class/Grades → Class → Interdisciplinary Credit Recognition Application (Sungshim)) / Refer to [Attachment 4] for instructions.
※ Refer to [Attachment 2] for the list of eligible interdisciplinary courses.
※ Refer to [Attachment 3] for the number of credits eligible for each major.
▶ After the deadline of each application period, you can check the approval result on Trinity from 15:00 the next day.Important Notes
▶ Double major students: If the courses taken are recognized for both first and second majors, they can be credited for both (i.e., counted as elective credits for both majors).
※ The total credits earned will not change, and the graduation requirements must be met (at least 130 credits).
※ Courses eligible for double credit must be from the first or second major.
※ If double credit is awarded, the course will remain listed as originally classified on the transcript but will be reflected as valid in the respective major's credits.
▶ Students who have completed courses recognized for interdisciplinary credit in both first and second majors must choose which major to apply the credits to (only one can be selected).
▶ If you do not apply for interdisciplinary credit recognition during the application period, the credits will not be recognized. Please ensure you apply within the specified period (including students applying for leave of absence).
▶ The mutual credit recognition system for Business/Accounting majors is separate from the interdisciplinary credit recognition system. Please inquire with the relevant department.
▶ Interdisciplinary credit recognition can only be applied for if the courses match exactly.
▶ Notes for students with a convergent major as a second major:The maximum credit limit for convergent majors, including interdisciplinary credit recognition (up to 6 credits for double majors), is 12 credits. Therefore, the total number of recognized credits for convergent majors cannot exceed 12 credits.
▶ Notes for students completing multiple teacher certification programs:If a student is pursuing both the first and second majors and applies for interdisciplinary credits in both, the credits will be recognized for the major requirements but cannot be counted toward the teacher certification credits. You must still meet the minimum required credits for teacher certification.
▶ Once interdisciplinary credit recognition is approved, it cannot be canceled under any circumstances, so please apply carefully.
