[Student Affairs Team] Notice on New Selection of Seoul Caritas Scholarship Students for the 2026 Academic Year (Deadline: December 22, Monday, by 15:00)

The Seoul Caritas Scholarship Foundation, operated by the Seoul Catholic Social Welfare Foundation, aims to support adolescents in welfare blind spots within the Archdiocese of Seoul. By providing scholarships, the foundation strives to help students continue their studies in a more stable environment.
Accordingly, scholarship recipients for the 2026 academic year will be selected as follows:
1. Eligibility Criteria (Applicants must meet all of the following)
Must be an enrolled student within the regular semesters as of the 2026-1 semester
(8th-semester students are excluded)Must be in a financially difficult situation but not classified as a National Basic Livelihood Security recipient
Must have a cumulative GPA of B (3.0) or higher
2. Required Documents (Originals must be submitted)
One recommendation letter (designated form)
※ Must be written in detailOne self-introduction letter (designated form)
One copy of family relations certificate
(issued under father or mother’s name, showing only date of birth)One academic transcript
One certificate of enrollment
One consent form for the collection and use of personal information (designated form)
One copy of the applicant’s bank account (under applicant’s name)
3. Selection & Scholarship Schedule
Selection Announcement: January 30, 2026 (Fri)

※ Paid quarterly (February & August)Scholarship Amount: 2,000,000 KRW per year

5. Important Notes
Selected scholarship recipients must attend the scholarship certificate ceremony.
Recommendation letters must be written in as much detail as possible
(Recommendation from professors, outside organization directors, or high school teachers is acceptable).If any information in the self-introduction or recommendation letter is found to be false, the scholarship may be revoked even after selection.
If your contact information changes, you take a leave of absence, or any other personal changes occur, you must notify the scholarship coordinator.
※ Failure to make contact may result in disadvantages, for which the student is responsible.Recipients must submit a mid-term report before the second scholarship payment,
due by August 15, 2026.Scholarship may be suspended if:
- The student is on a leave of absence (one semester or longer)
- The student receives disciplinary action equivalent to or more severe than community service
- False information is discovered during the selection process
- Other reasons determined by the scholarship committee
