Guidance on Additional Selection for 2025 Teacher Education Program Candidates
The additional selection for candidates of the 2025 Teacher Education Program will proceed as follows.
Students who wish to complete the Teacher Education Program in majors/departments with available seats should apply within the designated period.

Application Method: Apply through Uportal (Academic Plan must be submitted)

Eligibility
Students who, as of the application date, are enrolled in the 2nd semester of the 2nd year (4th semester) and have earned at least 68 credits (applications from others are not permitted).
(Current 4th-semester enrolled credits are included toward the 68 credits.)
※ Students who returned, transferred, or were readmitted as 3rd-year students are not eligible to apply for the Teacher Education Program.

Additional Selection Method for 2025 Teacher Education Program Candidates

1st Round	Selection is based 100% on academic performance. • 150% of the approved quota for each major is selected based on academic ranking. • Selection criteria: Academic Performance (80%) + Introduction to Education (20%) • Calculation method: Grade in “Introduction to Education” × 20% + Cumulative GPA up to the 2nd semester of the 2nd year × 80% If “Introduction to Education” has not been completed, the 20% weight is calculated as “0.”

Only candidates who pass the 1st round will take the Teacher Aptitude and Personality Test.
2nd Round	Interview
	• Selection criteria: Academic Performance (70%) + Academic Plan (10%) + Interview (20%) + Teacher Aptitude and Personality Test Results • Teacher Aptitude and Personality Test: Confirms the educator’s character and qualifications required at each stage of teacher training • Interview format: One department chair (major) professor and one professor from the Teacher Education Program One-on-one interview for each student Assesses whether the student is suitable for completing the Teacher Education Program and whether the student has passion and commitment for the teaching profession ※ In-person interviews are standard, but depending on circumstances, the interviewer may conduct the interview by phone, video call, or other methods.

※ The Teacher Aptitude and Personality Test is conducted to confirm whether the student is suitable for completing the Teacher Education Program.

Grades from the 2025 Winter Session are not included.
The selection method (including interview format) may be adjusted depending on the number of applicants or the opinion of each department chair.
After grades are finalized, the list of 1st-round successful candidates and the interview schedule will be announced in early January.
