2025 Fall Semester Fundamental Academic Major Experiential Special Lecture

『Fundamenta』 Application Guide

As part of the <Career DESIGN> course, the Fundamental Academic Major Experiential Special Lecture 『Fundamenta』 will be offered in the 2025 Fall Semester.
Students eligible for this special lecture are advised to review the details below and apply.




1. What is 『Fundamenta』?

  • A program designed for first-year students admitted without a declared major in 2025, allowing them to directly experience the depth of thought and joy of inquiry inherent in the fundamental academic disciplines through small-scale experiential special lectures organized by majors in the humanities, languages, and natural sciences.

2. Eligible Participants

  • First-year undeclared students in 2025 (College of Liberal Studies, Division of Humanities & Social Science, Division of Natural Science & Engineering).

3. Application Period

  • October 20, 2025 (Mon) 09:00 – October 24, 2025 (Fri) 23:59

5. Operation Method

  • During the 10th-week special lecture period, students must select and apply for one lecture offered by each major.

  • Participation must be during free periods, not class hours. (Absence from class will not be excused due to this special lecture.)

  • Each lecture runs for about three hours, and tardiness will not be counted as attendance. Please be punctual.

  • After all lectures have concluded, participation results will be reflected in the attendance for the 10th week of <Career DESIGN>.
