[Student Affairs Team] Announcement on the Selection of New Scholarship Recipients by the Mirae Talent Development Foundation for the 2026 Academic Year (Document Submission Deadline: October 14)

The Mirae Talent Development Foundation, a public interest corporation established in October 1983 with the mission of “fostering talented individuals through scholarship and training programs,” has been dedicated to discovering and nurturing outstanding students who can contribute to national and social development. The Foundation will select new scholarship recipients for the 2026 academic year as outlined below. Please apply within the designated period.
(※ Two students will be recommended from each university ranked within the top 30 of the QS World University Rankings, and a total of 32 students will be selected. Each selected student will receive a scholarship of KRW 3,000,000 per semester for six semesters until graduation.
All recommended candidates will undergo an individual in-depth review, and it is possible that all candidates recommended by a single university may be selected.)
1. Scholarship Details
a. Fixed support of KRW 3,000,000 per semester until graduation (a living-expense-based academic encouragement grant, may be received concurrently with other scholarships)
b. Up to six semesters (eight semesters for five-year programs)
2. Eligibility
a. Students scheduled to enter (or return to) the first semester of their second year in the 2026 academic year
b. GPA of 3.7 or higher in the previous semester and completion of at least 15 credits (no income bracket restrictions)
c. Preference given to students with official test scores or awards in specific fields such as language, arts, sports, science, or technology
d. Preference given to students who demonstrate good character and a spirit of service, contributing positively to both individual growth and community harmony
e. Preference given to students with clear goals and concrete academic plans who can contribute to national and social development
f. Attendance at the scholarship summer camp (held annually at the end of June) is mandatory
