[Student Affairs Team] Korea Disabled People's Development Institute – 2025 Ssangyong Gomduri Scholarship Application Guide (Deadline: July 31)

The Korea Disabled People's Development Institute is now accepting applications for the 2025 Ssangyong Gomduri Scholarship. We encourage eligible students to apply as outlined below.

Application Period: July 21 (Mon) – July 31 (Thu), 2025 (documents must arrive by July 31)

Scholarship Amount: Up to 1 million KRW per semester (maximum of 2 semesters, living expense support)

Eligibility:

  • Merit-based students: Students enrolled at a domestic or overseas university (including 2-year and graduate programs) who earned at least 12 credits (6 for graduate students) in the previous semester and achieved a GPA of 80 or above (on a 100-point scale)

  • Arts & Talents Category: Individuals with a disability who have demonstrated excellence in the arts or cultural fields since 2022

  • ICT Talents Category: Individuals with a disability who have demonstrated outstanding achievements in information and communication technologies since 2022
     Applicants must be currently enrolled and have completed at least one semester of university-level education

  • Submit your application through your university’s scholarship office or student affairs team using the official school seal

  • Submission method: Email or postal mail

Required Documents:

  1. Completed scholarship application form (official format required)

  2. Recommendation letter (optional)

  3. Consent form for collection and use of personal information

  4. Transcript of the previous semester

  5. Proof of disability (copy of disability registration card or official certificate)

  6. Certificate of family relations

  7. Document proving financial hardship (e.g. 2025 scholarship rejection notice, or national health insurance payment certificate)

  8. Awards or certificates in arts or ICT (for applicable categories)
