[Guidelines on Grade Forgiveness for the 1st Semester of 2025]

  1. Grade Forgiveness Application Period:
     2025. 7. 17. (Thu) 09:00 ~ 7. 18. (Fri) 12:00
※ Late applications will not be accepted. Please strictly adhere to the deadline.

  2. Eligible Applicants (Only students admitted in 2020 or earlier; leave of absence / completed students are NOT eligible)

1)Enrolled students who have completed 7 or more semesters (119+ credits, 140+ for Pharmacy majors)

2) Early graduation candidates or students in the bachelor-master combined degree program who meet the above requirements

  1. Maximum Forgivable Credits: 9 credits total (can be applied in parts; once approved, cannot be restored)
※ Calculated cumulatively starting from grade forgiveness applied in 2014-1st semester

  2. Eligible Courses for Grade Forgiveness

1) Courses with grades of C+ or lower (“F” grades also count toward the total forgivable credits)

2) Includes courses taken in the 2025 Summer Session

  1. How to Apply for Grade Forgiveness (refer to attached application method)

1)Log in to TRINITY (Uportal web system) and enter your application; check it through “View Grade Forgiveness”

2)After applying, print out the “Grade Forgiveness Confirmation Form” and keep it for your records

  1. Notes (Must Read)

1)Grade forgiveness may affect graduation/completion status; carefully consider your credit requirements

-Especially for core courses like “Human Studies” required for graduation, forgiveness may prevent graduation

2)Courses with forgiven grades will be marked as “W” and excluded from earned credit and GPA calculation

3)Even if GPA improves due to forgiveness, academic warnings from that semester will not be removed;
dormitory applications, scholarships, etc. will reflect grades prior to forgiveness.
Be cautious as public exams and external certifications often require a minimum of credits completed by year

4)Forgiven grades cannot be restored

5) After applying for grade forgiveness, be sure to print and verify your “Grade Forgiveness Confirmation Form”
and submit it to the Academic Affairs Support Team in case any issues arise
